ANNOUNCEMENT: Introducing the Netduma R3

Would be no less than another router, you shouldn't encounter a limitation even if you have a lot of devices in your household -
Family members Playstation connection
Netduma Fraser replied to TheMW2Ghost's topic in Community Discussion
That is strange, is that device receiving an Open NAT? Have you put your console or any other device in the DMZ? -
That could still be faulty, so no doesn't really change anything, worth giving them a call if you've definitely confirmed regardless of the router being used you're seeing the same results

I mean that's plenty of bandwidth, no issues there. Is that device using the Geo-Filter? What is the ping like in game, is it steady or does it fluctuate a lot? -
Doesn't look like you can adjust anything. It's either the cable you're using from it to connect to the routers that is faulty, the box itself or somewhere on your line. They should have tests they can initiate to see where the issue may be.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Introducing the Netduma R3
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Lew's topic in News & Announcements
That's a cool idea and I get why you'd want that but once we do that we'd then have to do other routers as well. Once you see more of DumaOS 4 though you'll see there really is no comparison! -
Does the Ubiq have an interface you can access at all? If not it's likely something you'll need to contact the ISP about if it happens on another router

R2 Firmware update not applying
Netduma Fraser replied to way2fast900rr's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Okay that's fine, have you enabled remote support and posted here from a device connected to the R2? -

Geo-Filter not picking up the Australian server?
Netduma Fraser replied to adro's topic in Call of Duty Support
Could you provide the ID of one of those blocked servers please outside the radius? Servers can appear mislocated on the map and so that is possible, if you provide us with the ID and add it to your deny list when can correct it and you won't connect to it again -

I've put a note on the order for you to ship with an EU power adapter -
Okay gotcha, not sure what that means for the beta aspect, but I've let the team know. Thanks for the bug report as well, are you able to game properly without lag while running Ping Optimiser?

When you get that message, zoom out on the map, are you seeing anything blocked at all? -

No hard date yet, it depends when stock arrives -
Don't think there is much else that could be affecting it, make Traffic Controller rules for the NAS/affected devices and allow ALL traffic, does that allow them to work then?
-
Parece que está intentando conectarse mediante HTTPS, lo que podría causar el problema. Utilice http://192.168.77.1 ¿Funciona?

NEW XR700 BETA FIRMWARE: 3.3.363
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Lew's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Jodafi posted a solution above, to my knowledge it's the only fix that exists -
Sì, stiamo lavorando duramente per garantire che non siano ancora presenti problemi legacy come questo su R3/DumaOS 4
-
Do you actually already have it? As I thought we were going to be getting EE to give it to you for testing?

XR500 message d'erreur suite à mise a jour
Netduma Fraser replied to Matvent's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Le firmware représente un changement assez important par rapport au précédent, je suggère donc de procéder à une réinitialisation d'usine pour éliminer tous les restes de la version précédente causant des problèmes. -
As above, the Geo-Filter isn't a VPN it won't change the location but it will allow you to get games within the radius you set, keep in mind the further away you try to force servers the harder it will be to get them, it's not a guarantee.

Connection Benchmark extremely slow
Netduma Fraser replied to KaiszerSozae's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Just to let you know, we did find the cause, we hardcoded a measurementlabs backup server to be used in case the original server isn't available for whatever reason but they've now taken that backup server down so if the router has to use the backup it won't work as the server is no longer available so it will require a firmware update. The feature will still work as long as it can contact the original server.- 6 replies
