On your web browser, you'll have the option to launch an incognito window
-
Did you perform this step at all?
-
Yes it should be filled in, could you provide the log from the System Information page please - one without doing anything and then getting the log after changing a WiFi setting please.
-
Totally understand your concern, especially with the launch of the R2 being a little shaky. Obviously we haven't had it tested with 100's/1000's of users in different countries with different setups and internet connections so we can't guarantee there won't be issues but what I can say is that we've taken what we've learnt from the R2 and implemented that. Really focused on WiFi from the get go, ensured with the design that it won't overheat, implemented a system that will allow a user to more easily recover the router should it ever approach a brick type situation etc. The backend is much cleaner and more efficient, we can iterate a lot easier. In my opinion it doesn't even come close the the R1 or R2! Of course once it launches we'll be closely monitoring feedback and issues and fixing things as fast as possible if needed.

R3 + Geo-Filter 2.0 [ON] + Crossplay [OFF] = GOD MODE (PC)
Netduma Fraser replied to DUMALOVER's topic in Netduma R2 Support
I highly doubt that's possible for us to do, the game uses servers to connect players to each other, we can't determine the players you're against so couldn't check to see what platform they're using either -
NEW XR500 BETA FIRMWARE: 3.3.535
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Lew's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
That is the QoS page, experiment with the percentages to get the best results, 70% doesn't work for everyone. Traffic Prioritization can also interfere with the tests so disable that while trying. -
Added, you can find it here: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/144-netduma-r2-early-access/ Once the upgrade has been completed would recommend a factory reset as it's quite a change from your current version. Let us know how you get on!
-
I'll pass it on to Alex so he can retest the game and get it added
-
Interesting, could you sign up for Early Access please: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/39415-introducing-early-access/ then let me know once you've done that and we can get you on a newer firmware and see if that resolves it.

Ah the reboot, I thought you were referring to the disconnects. For the reboot, I imagine it's either if the router is connected to an extender it may perform better direct to an outlet or the power adapter may be faulty. Otherwise it could be overheating if there isn't enough clearance under the vents/if it's on a surface such as a carpet which may insulate it.

Can you provide a screenshot of the interface please? -
Haha, it's amazing how sometimes you look at one thing for so long and miss the smallest of details! Glad to hear it's working now, you're welcome!

ANNOUNCEMENT: Introducing the Netduma R3
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Lew's topic in News & Announcements
Thank you for the support, we're sure you'll love it! You can't control which players connect to which servers, you can only control who you connect to so in that sense probably not -
Could you provide a screenshot of your WiFi settings page please?
-
While connected to the router via a Windows PC, open command prompt, type ipconfig press enter and then post a screenshot of the results here please. If you could make a new topic please and provide the ipconfig results there as well we can continue there

COD MWIII GeoFILTER NOT FUNCTIONING ON XR1000v2
Netduma Fraser replied to hammonje's topic in Call of Duty Support
That's very strange, do you have Armor enabled? Have you put the device in the XR DMZ? -
Clear your browser cache/cookies then reload the page and see if that works, if not try in an incognito window please
-
Try this while connected via ethernet, disable WiFi entirely from the WiFi settings, reboot the router from the interface, wait 4 minutes, access, enable WiFi, apply, reboot from the interface, wait 4 minutes then see if they appear and if you can change the options.

Click the icon on the Geo-Filter Map panel and there are options there

ANNOUNCEMENT: Introducing the Netduma R3
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Lew's topic in News & Announcements
Regarding Ping Assist, to correct my previous statement, I've got some clarity from a developer and Ping Assist will be back and better than ever. We'll likely do a whole video on this but you'll be able to set a range, a lower and upper ping limit. It will also be a lot more efficient and keep your servers within that ping range, unlike the existing state of Ping Assist which could allow a server at a higher ping in some cases. -
ANNOUNCEMENT: Introducing the Netduma R3
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Lew's topic in News & Announcements
We'll be providing more information about these features over the coming weeks but all the features you have just mentioned will make for a much more stable ping and therefore a better experience overall. I don't believe so at the moment, it's been suggested before so never say never! Awesome! Yes in essence the R2 does have an earlier version of Smart Boost, overall though DumaOS 4 which you see on the R3 will also come to the R2. Yes I believe we have solved this! In regards to your previous posts about the WiFi speeds, I was going off the speeds we were able to achieve in beta but after double checking with the devs I can confirm the WiFi speeds are much higher at gigabit! That's a good idea, I don't think it's on the radar at the moment but certainly something we could look into. If you're having issues I would recommend making a topic and we can help you there as that shouldn't be the case on any of the platforms with DumaOS. Unclear at the moment but in terms of the big updates, DumaOS 4 is the big one after 3.3 so it is very unlikely you'll see any major DumaOS versions on the XR platforms, more likely to just be bug fixes. Yes it shouldn't be an issue! -
That's great to hear, probably after some reboots it started to work
