Not recieved it yet but seems there’s loads of issues
Netduma Fraser replied to sharpz44's topic in Netduma R3 Support
I would say so, we've worked hard on improving the WiFi though I know some people are having issues with it though just a few - way better compared to the R2 if you remember that! -
I have sent you a PM, please see if that helps

Some websites taking an age to load
Netduma Fraser replied to DanologyUK's topic in Netduma R3 Support
I think it's a bug that it is applying to devices not added to the Geo-Filter. Is it still slow loading or not loading at all? -
Cant connect spanish server MW3
Netduma Fraser replied to Carlosrozada's topic in Call of Duty Support
Si desactiva el filtro geográfico para poder seguir viendo los servidores en el mapa, ¿alguna vez se conecta a ese servidor, por ejemplo, durante las horas pico? Si no, sospecho que no siempre está activo. -
Some smart devices don't work well with WiFi that switches bands automatically. In WiFi settings if you split the bands and connect the lights to 2.4 or 5GHz specifically does it work then?

Great to hear, I'll respond to this in your new topic

Could you disable IPv6 in LAN/WAN, reboot the R3 and test the speeds again please? If they're higher then it's probable that IPv6 is causing reduced speeds, in which case we can look at improving that

Cannot log into DumaOS from Mac or IOS
Netduma Fraser replied to Seb1991's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Take the Sky Hub out of the equation, hold the reset button on the back of the router for 30 seconds, release, wait 4 minutes then access. When you get to the internet section in the Setup do advanced and enter PPPoE there (I don't recall if it has VLAN there or not but if it does enter it), if you enter all that hopefully you'll have internet, if not complete the wizard and enter if in network settings. You should be able to have internet and access all the time now. Let us know how you get on. -
Yes it was but I believe they've done some other sessions and for the most part identified/reproduced all the issues and will be looking into them.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Introducing the Netduma R3
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Lew's topic in News & Announcements
Il firmware che non è disponibile corregge alcuni bug molto specifici che sembra tu non stia riscontrando. Posso inviartelo comunque se desideri? It's cutting it very fine to be honest as it would ship tomorrow and then it's 1-2 working day delivery generally and that's when it isn't the holiday season! It's possible DHL may be making deliveries at the weekend but if you were to order it I'd expect after Xmas if I were you. -
You've clicked on Nighthawk on that page click the < icon to see devices, is it listed?
-
Okay so it's fully filtering based on your radius now?

Thank you for your feedback, for the ping test/optimizer we're aware it's not 100% reliable at the moment, we're working on improving that, best to adjust Congestion Control manually instead from Ping Optimizer > Advanced. Geo-Latency is different to auto ping, auto ping wouldn't interfere with anything, it just pings the host automatically. Geo-Latency is a ping based filtering method which is why you're able to filter games that you wouldn't have been able to originally. Your console should be added as a console without selecting a game, it's likely that in the Device Manager it's shown as a different device, click it and edit the picture to be an Xbox and then re-add it to the Geo-Filter and it'll work. Ping Optimizer is auto adjusting Congestion Control essentially and works network wide, are you referring to Steady Ping? It can be helpful for any servers that have fluctuation which would be most servers so play around with it, see if you get better games with it on/off. I'll send you a firmware that'll fix the Fortnite issue. I'll pass on feedback about frostbite thank you.

Firmware Update to fix LEGO Fortnite / NAT Type
Netduma Fraser replied to Cath's topic in Netduma R3 Support
I have sent you the firmware I believe That's great to hear, glad the issues are resolved! -
Try setting the PC as a console in Device Manager instead then re-adding it to the Geo-Filter, does it work better then? Disable Geo-Latency on the Geo-Filter, make your settings changes then reboot the router/devices and then see whether it adheres to your settings more

Ping optimizer corretta configurazione
Netduma Fraser replied to Damiano Calafiore's topic in Netduma R3 Support
We're aware Ping Optimizer isn't 100% reliable at the moment and are working on improving that currently. Congestion Control should only be greyed out if you have disabled SmartBOOST entirely but if you can't see it that's probably why it is greyed out, was there anything you changed/did prior to it disappearing? A reboot should resolve it, then you can use Congestion Control to get your ping under control. You can adjust reserved IPs, click on the device you added and then you can change the IP there.

Geo-Latency is essentially a way of filtering servers by ping, everything outside your radius will have a high ping, thereby forcing servers within your radius instead. We have identified some issues with it that will be fixed. With it disabled it will be like the original version of the Geo-Filter that works by allowing everything inside the radius (location based) and exclude everything outside. The Geo-Filter will be active if you have a device added that has filtering enabled.

2 issues since setting up last night
Netduma Fraser replied to Sorbert's topic in Netduma R3 Support
For Ping Optimizer we're aware it's not 100% reliable at the moment, we know the cause and are working on a fix, in the meantime if it's not providing the results you want it would be best to utilize Congestion Control manually. When there is an update available for the router it will appear in the bottom left of the interface as a green icon, you'll be able to click on this, see what the firmware includes and then upgrade it from there. -
You may be limited on speed using PPPoE though we are looking at improving this so if you have very fast speeds I would suggest using the DMZ option for the moment
-
Great to hear that, thank you for confirming!

Can't connect Netduma r3 via PPPoe
Netduma Fraser replied to liolio2277's topic in Netduma R3 Support
I have sent you a private message with the firmware that fixes this It's possible the file was corrupted when downloading, delete it from your PC then download it again and attempt the upgrade again please -
Ping stabiliser no longer working
Netduma Fraser replied to BL4CK OPS V3TRN's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Glad it's working again, I have passed it onto the team so we'll be taking a look at that issue. -
It would be best to set it in bridge for the R3 yes. You don't need to do the DMZ on either router if you're using bridge mode. I think that's all you need to know, just make sure you complete the Setup Wizard - you won't get internet until you've done this. Any questions/issues let us know!
