What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to? Are ALL devices connected to the R3? What values do you have said for Congestion Congestion Control?
-
Hello, welcome to the forum! Glad you're impressed with it, to answer your questions: Yes likely you'll need to port forward, it doesn't have that toggle option you're referring to though I've mentioned it to the team to potentially be added It's not dynamic in that it will do tests frequently and adjust Congestion Control - as the test disconnects you from the internet it's best not to have it do that. Otherwise yes CC won't change once you've accepted the Optimizer results unless you redo the test or change them manually. No those options aren't available but it has been requested so may be added in future Thank you, Happy Holidays!

Good to hear it has improved! After the holidays the team will be able to provide more updates. Extra WiFi options have been requested so they're on the list.

Thanks for the screenshot, the firmware shouldn't have affected it at all but I'll send you one to see if it happens on that as well.

Error uploading firmware & other issues: Netduma R2

I think you'll probably need to do a factory reset then from the interface, once it's started close the tab and wait 4 minutes before re-opening. Once we get you updated this shouldn't happen -
I've sent you a private message with firmware, let me know if that helps at all

You can't get better than that! That means your ping will literally not change even if you're doing a download. That's why it doesn't make sense for the triangles, you can definitely ignore them.

Could you go to chrome://gpu in the web browser and provide a screenshot of the results please?

xr1000 struggle with qos
Netduma Fraser replied to scolio's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Start with a high value for Congestion Control, say 95% then do a test, decrease by 10%, test, decrease by 10% etc, until you get to a value that is pretty good and then try 5% either side of that value to see if it can be improved. It's important to note that Download & Upload on Congestion Control don't have to be the same value and that you may have a better experience with differing values.- 9 replies

Thank you for the picture, the way you have it connected, that ethernet cable needs to be in the blue port on the R3. It makes sense now why you have internet that way but it's not in the way that you should. Once you correct the cable and connect to the R3 via WiFi or ethernet and try to access the interface does it then work and can you complete the Setup Wizard? -
That's very strange, could you use the DMZ on the V hub instead of modem mode instead and see if that works?
-
Remove any priorities, activities and devices, any reservations you may have done as well then test again please. Also are you using Simple or Advanced SmartBOOST and does it make a difference to the speeds which is enabled?

V4 0 20 pagina geofiltri non si aggiorna
Netduma Fraser replied to Damiano Calafiore's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Yes you can install without a reset. A backup function has been requested so we'll look into that -
You'll need to re-enable SmartBOOST before you can adjust Congestion Control. In theory that should work but I don't think the Xbox would appear as it's an extension of the PC essentially, if you use the PC for the Geo-Filter it should then work. That has been requested before so we can look into it. Sent

Yes but do you have a device connected to the R3 specifically via one of those methods? Once you can access you can go through the wizard -
No, Heatmap just pings servers that's all. We're looking into merging the Geo and Heatmap together but would take some time
-
Yes you can install without a reset. That has been requested so we'll look into implementing it

Geo-Filter isn't blocking servers outside radius

You don't need to factory reset after but can if you wish -
If you use another browser does it load correctly then?
