  1. It's very unlikely that it will drastically change the way the matchmaking works and the Geo-Filter should still work without us doing anything but it may mean we have to do more whitelisting initially to get it 100%. We'll do what we can during out limited time with the beta and if we can't sort it fully by then, then when it launches we'll get it sorted.
  2. Added https://forum.netduma.com/forum/153-xr1000-beta-forum/
  3. That's a good idea and it's something we're already looking into!
  4. It has been suggested before so it is on the list to be looked into. I definitely think it would be a great idea
  5. Have you completed the Setup Wizard? If not you will need to do that before you can get internet
  6. If you refresh the page what happens? Click the arrow so it shows the error please. Does the speed show correctly now?
  7. You want the VPN to apply to just Plex on the 32400 port is that right? If so you need to change the mode to Only VPN these services instead. Did you reboot the router while the VPN was connected by any chance? If so that'll be why it's not loading now, I think you'll need to do a factory reset to clear that.
  8. I would always recomment the latest version which is .645 and it's a beta, when it's made public it would be a final version
  9. The router language in Settings > Language
  10. The device you play games on wouldn't effect how the router interface functions at all, if you could try please
  11. Could you change the language on the interface back to English, set the speed again and see if that works without issue and see if the error returns please? Wondering if it's a weird issue due to changing the language
  12. You said it worked in the past, what happened in regards to settings/hardware changes between then and now?
  13. You don't have to be remote but could you try initiating a connection to it just in case it requires that please? I don't see why it would. What is the model of the modem/router the XR is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the XR? E.g XR in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode. It does require a direct line to the internet so if you haven't done that then that could be a reason it's not behaving correctly.
  14. You could try denying all servers but you risk not getting any games otherwise no that's not possible to do, the game will decide which you connect to at the time
  15. No worries, appreciate the feedback, worth checking again once we've done another early access firmware
  16. Added It's just a topic to request access to the beta, without requesting access/being added you wouldn't see anything. I have added you now: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/153-xr1000-beta-forum/
  17. There isn't too much in the log really but if it does happen again please try the above suggestions and let us know how you get on
  18. This is a NTGR feature so our experience with it will be limited but I can't imagine how that is happening considering there isn't a VPN connection alive until you actually connect a client to it and there are essentially no options for it. Once you've enabled if you just do a reboot is the connection restored and are you able to connect to the VPN?
  19. In that case its due to the relay servers they use - they essentially connect to a server within your radius that you can connect to in order to bridge a connection to a server outside your radius that you wouldn't be able to connect to. There isn't much that can be done about this but supposedly covering Japan entirely as well as the servers you want to play on will prevent that happening.
  20. Thank you for confirming, the team will resolve the issue in an upcoming update
  21. Gaming doesn't use much bandwidth at all so that is correct, that's just what it needs at that moment. The ping shown on Ping Optimizer is to the server it uses for the test so it doesn't mean your game ping or any other ping will be that high or that could be higher depending, what it's done is determined a good result to keep your base ping as low as possible which then means your connection should be less affected by local congestion. Where are you testing the speeds exactly? What do you get via a wired PC to speedtest.net? What is your ping shown in game and through the Geo-Filter? What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the R3? Have you entered your speeds into the router? How is Congestion Control setup (Ping Optimizer > Advanced)? How have you setup SmartBOOST? What game are you playing? What platform are you playing on and how is it connected, via ethernet or WiFi? How have you setup the Geo-Filter?
  22. I don't know what that means or under what scenario/Geo-Filter settings that happened, could you expand please?
