It doesn't change the servers you connect to or anything like that. The PC service for the game can get outdated, switching it to a PlayStation instead relies on ports so doesn't get outdated
-
It can do yes, once it connects to a game then it will detect that and show it consistently while you're in playing

Not Upload Firmware, Invalid Firmware...
Netduma Fraser replied to Erick Paiz's topic in Netduma R2 Support
We can see the IP on your forum post, that's why we say to post from a device connected to the R3 so we can get the correct IP -

Not Upload Firmware, Invalid Firmware...
Netduma Fraser replied to Erick Paiz's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Thanks, I will check in and see when they may be able to do it -
If you're trying to get around SBMM we can't help specifically with that and I don't know why you you would try that for any other reason Please provide a screenshot of the VPN page & a zoomed out screenshot of the Geo-Filter page showing when you get a game in the EU setup like that
-
The router can't leave a lasting impact on your connection if it's not plugged in so it wouldn't be causing it when it's you direct to the modem. No you won't have been put on a black list for using the Geo-Filter, all it appears as is that you're unable to connect to some servers. Try playing with a different account in case you've been shadow banned
-
Switch to the radius way of filtering instead of custom, restart the console then try again

Pretty much as above! In this scenario as well, if the issue is due to your public IP constantly renewing then a static IP would prevent that renewal happening and hopefully then the issue. Also, another benefit, if you have anything at home that you'd like to access outside your home such as a home server (or other non 'smart' devices) for example then it would be easier to access it away from home as the IP would never change.

Le Geofilter ne marche pas : Quid de Hybrid VPN ?
Netduma Fraser replied to BiTTrigger's topic in Netduma R3 Support
You enter the contents of that file (open it with a notepad on your PC and copy the contents) into the configuration box on HybridVPN, then enter the login credentials, if they have none just enter 1 & 1. I've responded to your other topic. -
If you're getting it without the R3 then yes the issue would be somewhere else unfortunately

NEW R3 FIRMWARE - DumaOS 4.0.540
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Netduma R3 Support
It may have needed a reboot to clear up memory for the update but glad you were able to update -
Would you be able to get the ISP to extend your public IP lease time? I'd say ask them for a static public IP but they'd very likely charge you for that
-
It's possible, is it on a surface where the vents would have some airflow?
-
It seems to be renewing the public IP a lot, what is the model of the modem/router the R2 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R2? E.g R2 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode
-
Did you reboot before getting the log? I can see the WiFi restarted but it looks like the whole router restarted so I would expect it to see that there
-
They're authentication servers so they need to be allowed for you to get games, that's why you couldn't get any when blocked. They don't negatively impact your game experience. You can put the PS5 in the DMZ if you wish. I would suggest reserving an IP for it, otherwise if the PS5 IP changes then the DMZ would be invalid and you'd have to set it again, would save time this way.

NEW XR500 BETA FIRMWARE: 3.3.535
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Lew's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
No because that is part of the NG software side, we don't have access to that code unfortunately This is the latest version that has the most features/updates -
You can't have the DMZ set and then port forwarding done as they're conflicting instructions. As long as UPnP is enabled both consoles should get the ports open that they need without causing issues for each other. Each console can still have a static IP.
