  1. It does, Congestion Control is in Ping Optimizer > Advanced and SmartBOOST is QoS also - essentially Traffic Prioritization
  2. When you next have some issues like this try to get the logs from Settings or from the recovery page and I can pass it on to a dev to take a look at
  3. Split the bands and connect to 2.4/5GHz manually and use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that, do you get more stability then?
  4. It is new in that it's never been an issue before with us. We're working on some big features at the moment which is taking up a lot of resources, bugs are still being fixed but they'll come with the features in the next update. In most cases people can have their original ISP modem/router handle PPPoE instead so they don't have the issue. Also just because you are using PPPoE doesn't mean that will happen.
  5. If you think you've misconfigured then a good step would be to do a factory reset to start fresh. Just to check, you have completed the Setup Wizard? You won't get internet without doing so. Do you require VLAN/PPPoE/DHCP Identifiers to get a connection?
  6. Settings > LAN I believe
  7. Copy the MAC address of your 5G router and set the R1 to use that MAC address, reboot the R1 and then see if it works better please
  8. Upgrade to the Early Access firmware and that won't be an issue
  9. It really doesn't make sense - you have QoS fully disabled in the Congestion Control menu where you tick to disable? Have you used checked directly to the 5G router using it for days whether it loses speed?
  10. Its the WAN IP from the R1 System Information page that is in the DMZ on the 5G router? Are ALL devices connected to the R1? What about when you download something on a wired PC, what speed does that achieve?
  11. On the System Information page go to the Rapp panel, click the icon, change the retries to 5, then repeat the reboot process I mentioned
  12. Reboot the router from the interface, close the browser, wait 4 minutes then access and see if it loads please
  13. Good to hear, thanks for the update!
  14. Added Good to hear, did you do a factory reset after upgrading? If not it would be a good idea to do so and then check if that still occurs
  15. How have you set the box to ensure all traffic flows to the R1? E.g R1 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Have you entered those speeds into the router? How have you setup Congestion Control? Do you require PPPoE/VLAN or DHCP identifiers for a connection?
  16. Any DPI update we make wouldn't affect Steady Pings success rate unfortunately. Are you actually able to filter currently?
  17. I'm not seeing this on my side, I think it's more to do with the fact that your map isn't rendering in properly. What device/web browser are you using to access? Do you have a browser based Adblocker enabled? Are you connecting to the interface via HTTPS?
  18. I noticed you've emailed us as well, I've replied to that and we can continue there
  19. Use 192.168.1.1/adv_index.htm or routerlogin.net/adv_index.htm and you should be able to upgrade from there. The firmware provided is a more up to date version of DumaOS so would be best to stay on this once on.
  20. You already have access https://forum.netduma.com/forum/144-netduma-r2-early-access/
  21. Most of the issues with PPPoE that we've had in the past have usually been with QoS on the upload side not working with it which has been resolved. The issue currently is that a small percentage of PPPoE users are experiencing disconnects, this is most likely due to the nature of the connection method (i.e. that it 'logs' in to the internet service and can have a timeout on it) but we will fix that.
  22. As above, sure there is a slight element of risk but look at any ISP modem/router and they'll all have UPnP enabled by default, any third party router will too so if there was a massive risk that wouldn't happen. As long as you're practicing safe network/web habits then you should be absolutely fine.
  23. A bit more white but not pure white for me, regardless I've passed it onto the team so they'll take a look when they can
