  1. That might be the best you can get on that test, do the same but with this test while downloading to simulate a busy network https://support.netduma.com/support/solutions/articles/16000074717-how-to-test-your-internet-ping
  2. Disable GeoLatency Disable PingAssist (set it to 0,0) Enable Strict Mode Disable Fast Search Then restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game). If that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and it should work then. It depends on the quality of the server as to how well it will play, you may not have the best routing to it or it could just be under load at that time. Basically you can't guarantee every game will be perfect
  3. Okay so skip the wizard, then in Settings on the R3 you can setup VLAN and that should then allow you to get internet
  4. Yes it still works - you don't need to be on the interface for any of the features to work
  5. Start at 95% then test, decrease by 10%, test, etc until you get to a good value then try 5% either side of that value
  6. Sometimes the gateway address changes when using the bridge mode, either way you've made it like a modem towards the R3 which is probably why you lose connection. What do you mean by R/M? What do you mean by the R3 old IP address - do you normally change it? So 192.168.77.1 isn't working?
  7. The game/console will periodically communicate with servers, that is why it is being picked up. If the console was fully off it would stop
  8. Geo-Latency can allow for servers to be connected to outside the radius so if you don't want that then you'd need to disable it. The next update will be a big one and they should be more frequent after that.
  9. Okay that won't be it then, do you have ALL devices connected to the R3? What firmware version are you on?
  10. Okay thanks I'll pass it on to the team!
  11. I don't know what that means specifically, can you clarify?
  12. You can yes, if you factory reset though it's likely the IP you entered into the DMZ will change so either double check and re-enter if necessary or on the hub set the R3 to have that IP as static/reserved so it never changes
  13. Okay that's good, it can take a few days or longer for some providers when you introduce a new router to have it provide full speeds. How long have you had the R3 connected?
  14. It shouldn't make a difference really whether you can ping it or not but for those ones where it doesn't play well deny the server so you don't play on it again
  15. If you just have your radius over your area you wouldn't be able to connect to him so it might make it force you as the host instead
  16. It's not always possible to ping the server unfortunately but I am talking to the team about it
  17. Disable Geo-Latency as that will help keep the game within your radius, see if it works better then
  18. You can do yes, just keep in mind QoS won't work as effectively in that scenario as it can't control the devices not connected to it
  19. How far away is the friend in relation to you? What is the ping when they host?
  20. They'll both work regardless but always best to have ALL devices connected to the R3
  21. Is that DMZ on the R3 or DMZ on the provider router?
  22. Let us know if the above process works!
  23. Is the gaming device still on even in an instant on/standby state?
  24. Did you split the WiFi bands? If not its likely your device is using 5GHz at that time and will then switch to 2.4GHz when needed.
  25. Factory reset can be done either via the interface or by holding the reset button in the back of the router for 30 seconds. Unplugging is just a reboot. The firmware is attached to the first post on that link, there is also an alternate download link at the bottom of that post.
