What is the model of the modem/router the XR is connected to and if applicable, how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the XR? E.g. XR in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode. Are ALL devices connected to the XR? For the interface, make sure you're not using a browser based Adblocker/whitelist/disable for the interface page. Ensure the browser/you aren't forcing a connection to the interface via HTTPS.

NEW XR700 BETA FIRMWARE: 3.3.363
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Lew's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
There won't be any major updates or any further features added or changed, it will primarily be some bug fixes here or there, as with any update I don't have any ETAs. Could you provide a log when you next get that issue please? -
You said you're losing internet, which devices does this happen on?

Unable to connect to EA servers. - Apex Legends

Disable Filtering mode so you can still see servers and see if you can get Bahrain without the Geo-Filter impacting the search -
Thanks for that, I can't reproduce it with that website on the latest firmware, it loads instantly for me with Adblocker enabled - have you tried it on the new firmware?
-
Okay thanks for the extra information but can you tell me what devices you lose internet on please?
-
xDefiant doesn't work properly with the Geo-Filter so that could be a reason. Is it only the gaming device losing internet?
-
On the Geo-Filter, it could be trying to migrate the host to one outside your radius for example. Is it only the gaming device losing internet?
-
Okay keep us posted! Have you got an example of a website you saw this behavior on so we can try to reproduce it?
-
We haven't been informed of an issue like this, do you see anything being blocked when you're kicked from the game?

Unable to connect to EA servers. - Apex Legends
Netduma Fraser replied to thahyp's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Right okay so I think it's more akin to something like Fortnite, I suspect if you keep trying to connect it will eventually let you in or it could be that the player count for that server is low and that's why it is trying to get you in a different server. Have you ever been able to connect to it without the Geo or can you not tell? -

Using the Geo-Filter for Apex is a bit hit or miss really. When you get that error do you see anything outside your radius being blocked? -
I think it'll be fixed properly in the next version so for now I would recommend having the ISP router handle it

Are you on the latest firmware here: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/56107-new-r3-firmware-40236/ Were you doing a big download at the time when it happened? If the website has a lot of ads or trackers then in theory it could slow down the loading if Adblocker is blocking them all. You could add any particular websites to the whitelist so they'll work as normal while Adblocker is still enabled.

This is something that's been requested before so it is possible we will have that included in future.
