Is this on the latest firmware? What platform are you playing on?

R3 not showing correct datacenter location in Xdefiant.

I haven't tested personally so I'm not too sure tbh -
Router disconnects, have to manually reset it
Netduma Fraser replied to Simon Thomas's topic in Netduma R3 Support
It really depends, speed tests can raise it, downloading cloud updates etc. It also may be attributing unknown traffic to it as well. If you're not encountering any issues I wouldn't worry about it too much. -
That is really peculiar then and doesn't make much sense to be honest, it seems as though you're being punished for not utilizing the connection - do you share your internet with a building or anything like that?

That's exactly what would occur if they're mislocated, we'll be doing more work for the game that'll be included in the next firmware so should be better then -
Yes that's absolutely fine
-
I can't see your picture, it's just black but in terms of the lag, how have you set Congestion Control/SmartBOOST?

Download Speeds Vastly Different
Netduma Fraser replied to NightmareNM's topic in Netduma R3 Support
That's brilliant to hear, thanks for the update! I've let the team know you experienced better speeds with IPv6 disabled also. -
Okay that's good to know thank you - I will have to see if the team can reproduce this, thanks for the report!
-
If you have a look at the top right of the interface or on the system information page it'll say V2 after the firmware version, if it doesn't say this you'll be on the standard version.
-
There isn't any public access currently, it'll go into closed beta testing soon.

High memory usage without any activity
Netduma Fraser replied to Movement's topic in Netduma R3 Support
That's fine, not to worry, it's not very high and it will naturally fluctuate - it will also go up when you're viewing the interface via a web browser -
That's a lot better, you may be able to fine tune it more though if you adjust the sliders manually and observe to find what works best

I cant sign into UI even after resetting router

Weird one, glad you were able to get it sorted, thanks for posting your solution! -
What is the return policy with this router?
Netduma Fraser replied to Mach3r's topic in Community Discussion
You can see the terms here: https://netduma.com/terms There is a parental control type feature called Internet Rules "Decide who uses your connection by setting the rules – literally. Automatically freeze the internet on your own schedule for any of your network devices. With Network Rules, users now have more control than ever over their network, devices and traffic. Internet access/usage can be blocked based on application, device or port aligned to your schedule." -
That's all fine, you should have plenty of servers there, did you change the Geo settings while you were already on the game?
-
Don't worry about a bufferbloat test, go off the PingPlotter results instead as that is a more accurate reflection of your connection
-
Depends what your SmartBOOST settings are and what was being detected at the time - it may not have been triggering. Assuming it was, looks like 50% may be too much and you can get a better result with some higher values.
-
How strict are your Geo settings? Was the game within your radius? If so it did its job but depending on the server it still may be a bad experience if its under load for example
-
We can take a look into it - are you on the latest .219? If you reboot your PC fully does it appear open with UPnP after that?
-
Remove that, reboot the router, wait a few minutes then see if it continues please
-
There is some room for improvement but it's not terrible - under what circumstances were the tests done?
