Could you try holding down the button instead for at least 5 seconds and see if it works please Slow down in what sense? Do you mean web pages stop loading completely?
-
It's a nice idea but allowing users to block IP ranges could be a nightmare with people blocking too much preventing themselves getting games at all or blocking authentication servers. I'll add it to the list though for consideration

Ping Optimizer does depend on the servers you're using for testing as well as what may be happening on your network/upstream. I would generally advise the method from the link to my comment above - it allows you to fully saturate the network and really be able to fine tune CC for the best results

What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode. Are ALL devices connected to the R3? When it happens check the SmartBOOST page just to see if any traffic is being used. Are you testing over ethernet?

Playstation hard wired to R3 problem

In addition, disable Adblocker on the router for the device, does it work then? -
You don't have to no, just be aware that xdefiant won't filter properly, it's something we're looking into but it will take some time and may not be possible
-
Good advice above, also check the priority for streaming on SmartBOOST is triggering when you're streaming

A factory reset wouldn't prevent the servers appearing - the Geo-Filter will show servers based on what is attempting to connect to you. It's possible the cloud update was wiped and the router hasn't yet downloaded the latest one so if you resync the cloud on the Geo-Filter then check again it may work. It's also possible the servers are down as you mentioned but there is no way to specifically check the status of each individual server. If it continues to happen please provide a screenshot of what the Geo-Filter shows when you have servers outside your radius.

How have you set the hub to ensure all traffic flows to the R2? E.g. R2 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the R2?
-
Have you rebooted the router this week? If so that will be why, the data won't persist through a reboot.

Yes you should setup QoS for the optimum connection - you can't force playing on servers rather than peers - if the game primarily uses P2P then you wouldn't be able to get any games if you did that -
If you try the manual connect option does it work that way?
-
It'll require a firmware fix so not something you can resolve by yourself currently, it also depends when the team are able to look at the logs, we have a lot to go through. Remote access could be helpful thank you!

The test will always vary depending on the amount of traffic happening, if you're doing the test when barely anything is happening on the network you'll be optimizing QoS to work best when nothing is happening. Personally I'd suggest using this https://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/articles/16000074717-how-to-test-your-internet-ping while downloading/streaming etc. It's best to start with a high value for Congestion Control (Always), say 95% then do a test, decrease by 10%, test, decrease by 10% etc, until you get to a value that is pretty good and then try 5% either side of that value to see if it can be improved. It's important to note that Download & Upload on Congestion Control don't have to be the same value and that you may have a better experience with differing values.

NetDumaR2 problema geofilter y desconexiones

The interface disconnects/refreshes? Reboot to get rid of that error then provide a screenshot of your Geo-Filter page/settings please. Preferably in a different format other than HEIC -

To force servers you need to put Ping Assist to 0, that might be a part of the problem. How do you have QoS setup? -
Question Regarding Log In for R2
Netduma Fraser replied to itz_KonfliK's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Probably the best option would be to do Modem > R3 > Extender > PS5 -
Could you disable SmartBOOST fully and see if it continues please?

Question Regarding Log In for R2
Netduma Fraser replied to itz_KonfliK's topic in Netduma R2 Support
If you hold the reset button in the back of the router for 30 seconds, release, then wait about 4 minutes before accessing/unplugging it will be reset and when you go to access it'll take you to the setup wizard -
You're restricting possible servers as it is with the Geo-Filter, then your forcing it to connect to the US so you have a high ping and you're further restricting it with crossplay off so it does make sense. I don't think you'll be able to do so with crossplay off unless you play during peak/busy times
-
Could you grab the logs from here when it happens please http://192.168.77.1/cgi-bin/logs.txt you should be able to access the link even if you don't have interface access

Is this on the .219 firmware? Is your app on the latest version?
