  1. I think you're talking about changing your routing which is more akin to a VPN and not something we can do very easily or quickly
  2. Imagine if you were getting a train that required you to change stations - the router sees that the 'station' you change at is within your radius and so allows you to connect. Once you get to that 'station' you join a connecting train that takes you outside the your radius - the connection has been allowed and the router can't see the final destination.
  3. ONT > WAN Port on other router. That router handling PPPoE/VLAN LAN port on other router > WAN port on R3. R3 set to DHCP
  4. Do not put your PC in the DMZ that is a major security risk, I'd highly suggest you remove it immediately. Look up the ports needed for the game and add them instead.
  5. You don't need to open any ports specifically if you have an open NAT.
  6. It's completely different for everyone but it's not abnormal if it can't be improved at that time.
  7. You posted in the wrong topic, I'll post in yours. I've given you early access, try that in the meantime. https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/ Thanks you too!
  8. Are you having an issue? You've not posted
  9. What firmware version are you on currently? The disconnect issue is something we're looking into at the moment
  10. Right okay that's interesting, thanks, keep us posted on your progress
  11. I get what you're saying, I'm just saying that's how you identify servers you want to connect to. You may be being lag compensated, in which case forcing servers further away with a slightly higher ping can help. You know your experience, experiment and find what works best for you.
  12. I've never even heard of them but would be interested to hear anyone's results!
  13. Okay so that's an allowed server, either by you or us, can you click on it and see if the ID is in your allow list please? If not please provide the ID and we can check whether it should be whitelisted or not.
  14. I've found the V Hub modem mode to be a bit flaky in the past so try doing the above and see if that provides better stability.
  15. Go to the System Information page and then in the Rapp panel menu ≡ change the retries to 5, reboot from the interface, wait 4 minutes before accessing and see if it works then please.
  16. No that's fine, nothing to be concerned with
  17. It'll connect to a server within your radius and then re-direct you to a server outside your radius and as the connection is made that way we can't block it because it appears within the radius. I suspect if you include more servers that will happen less yes.
  18. We can try to reproduce it but I'm not sure what we'd do if we could, as I mentioned we can't tell how full a game is, it's still working to get you the servers you want. I'll pass it onto the team.
  19. Great to hear! If it thinks the ping is optimal then yes. It can change depending on the time of day so try it again at another time and it may provide different results.
  20. That's great to hear! What message? I'm not seeing anything
  21. It's possible it could be VLAN though that should work fine, to test your theory do you have another router you can use to handle that, connect the R3 to it and put it in the DMZ and see if performance is better?
  22. Right so you're taking the IP from the router and putting it into that site to show the location even though you can see the location on the Geo map? Use the Simple radius instead of custom and see if it works better then. I suspect this is the issue where it's using relay servers to force you outside the radius, we're looking into it but can't guarantee it can be solved. Including more servers with simple may lessen this affect.
  23. The router doesn't determine who is in a game with you, it doesn't have access to that kind of information, are you purely searching for games in SA?
  24. No need to post in multiple places, I'll respond to your topic.
  25. It's both WiFi and ethernet, I'd suggest keeping it enabled - the ethernet vs WiFi argument has merit but often times leaves a lot of information out. You can still get lag, packet loss etc over ethernet.
