I'd recommend having a look through some of our video guides: https://www.youtube.com/@netduma/videos Ideally ALL devices would be connected to the R3 for the optimal connection.

Random Disconnects on R3 reboot fixes it
Netduma Fraser replied to Boldshoter30's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Are you using a switch at all? Are you able to have your ISP modem/router handle PPPoE instead to see if that reduces it? -
New isp _ New subnet - can´t login to the dumaos
Netduma Fraser replied to Some_Dude's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Could you ask them to extend the lease time at all? -
Yes that's correct Reboot the router, wait a few minutes then try again If it's not listed in the change log then it hasn't been fixed, we're still working on it currently. We don't do immediate rollouts on the interface, if there was a major issue that bricked every router that would be a major disaster. That's why we delay that until we can be sure it's all fine. If you want to see it in Stats for nerds then you'd need to add in activities is what he is saying but it'll still prioritize

XR1000 BETA NEWS?
Netduma Fraser replied to DARKNESS's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Last major update yes -
It is a hardware limitation, that's why we would advise you use the Hybrid aspect of the VPN to just apply it to the specific service/application/ports you want so the rest of the device can go through your normal connection.

We've moved over to a new system that allows us to provide more shipping options so there are a few little things we're still working on. You should have your tracking information but if not email [email protected] and I can provide it.

What router/firmware version are you using? I think the workaround for this at the moment is to disable DPI in Congestion Control options

Not able to profile change on Duma App
Netduma Fraser replied to D3mon1c's topic in DumaOS Mobile App
Good catch, I can reproduce the issue, I'll pass it onto the app developer -
If those are the closest servers to you then you can't reduce your ping to them unfortunately but how do you have SmartBOOST/Congestion Control setup? What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode

I'd set what fast.com says personally!

How do I go about a warranty claim?
Netduma Fraser replied to SlaughterhouseSean's topic in Netduma R2 Support
It doesn't sound like an issue that warranty would be needed for. We are aware Ping Optimizer/Speed Test isn't 100% reliable at the moment and it's something the team are working on. Those features can still work, it just may not be every time. In the meantime best to adjust Congestion Control manually/set your speeds manually. -
The stock arrived too late on Friday to be sent out, you should have received a tracking email by now, if not email [email protected] and we can provide that to you.

You could always try them on socials or by making a ticket but it's unlikely they would release it because of that

NEW XR500 BETA FIRMWARE: 3.3.535
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Lew's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Depends what you mean by disadvantage, you'd lose any 3.3 features/changes but other than that you'd be fine to -
Random disconnects with new firmware
Netduma Fraser replied to Achilles's topic in Netduma R3 Support
I'll have to check in with the team on Monday and see -
Reboot the router, close the tab, wait 4 minutes then access and you should be able to enter

To play on the game right then no it's redundant. What is will do is if you end up changing your location/radius at some point to where that allowed server would now be outside your radius, if you had added it to your allow list you will still have the potential to connect to it. Peer would be a player, an actual player being the host of that game and Dedicated Server being well a server. However, in this case the peers you're seeing will just be incorrectly classified as peers but are actually servers. Functionally on the Geo-Filter there is no difference, it's just visual.

Has anything changed in your network setup recently other than an R3 firmware update (e.g., new devices, ISP changes)? Do you notice the issue on the console if you connect via WiFi instead of ethernet? Are you using any other networking equipment (e.g., additional routers, extenders, switches)? What devices are being used at the time when you're playing? Are they using much bandwidth? Is there a particular time of day when the issue is more prevalent? What changes have you made to the R3 after a factory reset? When the issue happens can you look at the CPU usage on the R3, is it high? (It looks fine from the screenshots provided)
