  1. As above you'll need to allow that server as it's an authentication server, you can't play without it. There may be a few servers there you'll need to allow. If you could get the IDs we can add them to our whitelist.
  2. Does it work without the Geo-Filter enabled?
  3. Good to hear, thanks for the update!
  4. With your gaming device connected to the ethernet cable that normally gives the R3 internet do you experience the same issue?
  5. What web browser/device are you using? Have you updated it to the latest public version .540?
  6. That explains it, satellite internet is going to be subject to interference, degradation and fluctuations that fibre for example wouldn't be. This wouldn't usually be noticeable through web browsing for example but for gaming where you rely on latency first and foremost, you're going to notice it. I'm sure if you try what I mentioned previously you'll experience the same issues. Also their characteristics for fine are likely different to your version of fine for gaming.
  7. That's really impossible for me to say as I cannot determine the cause. Play during non peak and peak times, do you notice a difference? Play with devices using the internet as they normally would and without them using it, do you notice a difference? If you don't experience any better performance during non peak hours with no other devices being used then the R3 is unlikely to help you.
  8. Yes that's normal
  9. No, we keep the current game and last game on there so when 7 came out we would have removed MW3. The servers are essentially all the same anyway.
  10. But with your gaming device connected to the ethernet cable that normally gives the R3 internet do you experience the same issue?
  11. From the screenshot you have the speed for download set at 2Mbps. Also your unloaded ping is very high there, even on the other your unloaded was around 20 so it will only ever be able to be at 20ms minimum on loaded/active
  12. If the modem doesn't even connect they definitely should send a tech or a replacement modem for you. They can usually conduct a remote test to the modem also. You can definitely do that and see how you get on - do you get the same issues directly connected to the wall/ONT with the gaming device?
  13. If you don't know that's fine, you can ignore it as you won't be using it. What were they connected to before that? With speed test bypass disabled is it providing different results?
  14. Disable Speed Test bypass and try it again. Does the R3 handle PPPoE/VLAN if needed? By PS5 is connected to the R3 only, do you mean there are no other devices connected to the R3 ever or just currently, where would they connect to if applicable?
  15. Disable Speed Test Bypass and try again
  16. I would say that could well be linked to the issue you're experiencing currently, if their own router is unable to connect to the internet then there may be some weird instability that needs to be resolved first. It could also be they're expecting to see the ISP router on the network but aren't, in some cases setting the router to use the ISP router MAC address may help. What do you mean unknown tests? That'll be some traffic we either haven't classified or traffic where the classification has become out of date.
  17. If you can get it used for a good price then you have nothing to lose really, you can always re-sell it if it doesn't meet your standards
  18. It's not required if you already have an Open NAT but you can do if you want to see if it plays better. Ahh good to hear!
  19. I'll let others comment of course but one of the reasons you don't see too many setup posts etc is because there are so many variables when it comes to networking that a configuration that works well for one person may work terribly for another. I'd always suggest experimenting yourself to see what works best, as long as you don't expect 100% of your games to be perfect then you'll find settings that work well for you.
  20. What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the R3? How is the console connected, via ethernet or WiFi? How did you disable the Geo-Filter exactly, by what you've said disabling this made no difference? Have you changed anything in the router settings pages specifically?
  21. Given the extreme customs taxes your country applies to imports and what you've mentioned so far I wouldn't feel comfortable recommending it for you at this moment in time.
  22. Your screenshot looks like it is working, there is an allowed icon within your radius so it's not actively blocking you, the game just doesn't want to place you in a game there for some reason. If you can't get servers in your own area either then there may be servers that need to be allowed - like the one in Ireland. Do you get a game easily in your area with the Geo-Filter disabled?
  23. You referring to Steady Ping? In which case it would but its not 100% reliable, it doesn't work all the time and requires a ping to the server which some game servers block pings to
  24. Your ping is very good overall so the Geo-Filter won't be very helpful and the fluctuation could be the other devices in your home like I mentioned, if not then it'll be the game servers so the router wouldn't specifically help with that
  25. Disable Geo-Latency in Geo-Filter settings but also that is an authentication server required for online play - you can't play without it
