  1. As above the team will all be back tomorrow to continue work on it, as always we'll make a post with the firmware when its ready
  2. Just to clarify is this only happening when launching BF6 and is it only the device you're launching it on that experiences it? From the logs it indicates its the device in port 3 only losing internet. I've given you Early Access, please upgrade and see if it continues on this firmware please: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/58424-new-r3-firmware-dumaos-40645/
  3. As mentioned, people will be closer/further away to the server so that will impact it. Given you're in Scotland your closest server for any game is almost certainly in London. Then your location, for example if you're in a major city or the highlands would impact it as well. Also just the general routing your ISP takes to the game servers. Essentially, there are so many variables to consider that you can't really compare your network experience to anyone else - I'd even go so far as saying not to compare to your neighbour as even then the quality of the cables feeding your houses can impact it, the amount of devices being actively used at a time etc.
  4. Being in the basement is probably it and the long distance as well, even if you weren't getting poor speeds through it I'd suggest an extender for your size home. They don't show solid constantly, they'll flicker based on usage
  5. Not specifically, devices will renew their IP addresses fairly frequently, usually this goes unnoticed but for some reason it didn't this time. As we've given them fixed IPs it shouldn't happen again and any devices that don't have a fixed IP will have their IP renew once a week so less change to be noticed.
  6. What's the layout of your house approx and where is the router located within it?
  7. Okay that's good then, the router isn't limiting you, it's just the speed test provider the router uses isn't always the most accurate so you can ignore that
  8. It definitely shouldn't be that bad. What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the R3? What are the speeds you pay for/receive? Have you entered those speeds into the router? How have you setup Congestion Control? How have you setup SmartBOOST? Where are you testing the speeds?
  9. As above, do the speed test on speedtest.net, do you get your expected speeds then?
  10. That's just log spam, we're aware of it, you can ignore it as it won't be causing any issues. You can reset if you like but it's unlikely to make a big difference. You're saying the connection is weak but are they experiencing any issues with the WiFi specifically?
  11. Were any settings changed/anything with the physical setup changed prior to it happening? Did you disable for WAN/LAN or both? How are you rebooting exactly? Go to Settings > DHCP > Add Rule > Select a device and save, repeat for all your devices. Also in DHCP settings set the lease to 10,000. Make those changes, reboot the router from the interface, close the interface, wait 4 minutes and see if it happens again.
  12. When did it start happening, after doing anything specific? Do you have IPv6 enabled?
  13. I've given you access to Early Access where you can answer the poll https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/
  14. If they don't require you to use your hub then yes you should be able to. Haha it should be fine but I can't give you a definitive answer on that
  15. When you access the interface via the browser, i.e. entering the LAN IP in the URL bar, after you've added your device to the Geo-Filter and you've gone into a game the server you're in will appear on the right. If you can connect it to that then yes that will be fine. No worries! You can also find some more info at support.netduma.com
  16. Is this for all devices or just specific ones? Can you provide the logs from when it happens please?
  17. Let us know how you get on, to try and make the others work a bit better: Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Ensure the router is in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _
  18. My vacuum specifically has trouble connecting also, all my other smart devices are fine otherwise on 2.4 or guest 2.4 - the extender method would be the better option but what I do and try it at your own risk is remove the password for the guest WiFi network, for some reason that makes it work. Then to make it slightly more secure you can make it so the guest WiFi doesn't broadcast (i.e. it doesn't show up on WiFi lists for anyone to connect to). This works for me as I don't have many neighbours but may not be an option for you.
  19. That's the plan!
  20. We're not just using codel though and what we're working on will be even better, there are better solutions, we're looking to innovate rather than use what currently exists
  21. We could use a different algorithm and be like other routers but we're attempting to be better than the basic algorithms and I think we are in that sense
  22. Then scroll down a bit and you should see it
  23. To answer your questions: It depends on whether they require you to use their hub with the box or not, if they don't then yes it should be fine to do that as long as you can connect them via ethernet (the R2 is a router only) It's AC WiFi/WiFi 5 so a couple of generations behind now but it should be sufficient, however it all depends on the size of your home, the thickness of walls etc I would recommend not purchasing the R2 though - you won't have any warranty from us, it's older tech, it won't get the latest updates now
  24. Setup a guest 2.4GHz WiFi network, is it able to connect to that instead?
