Geo Filter not showing up my PC on Black Ops 6 Multiplayer

Looks like from the other topic this may be due to playing custom games, if you go through matchmaking does it work? -
Geo Filter not showing up my PC on Black Ops 6 Multiplayer

Did you add it the device when the console or game was already on? -
Gotcha thanks, could you prioritize Call of Duty specifically, not content and see if that triggers please?
-
You can't give specific priority to the protocol and the game will use whichever protocol it wants to at the time. UDP is generally used for gaming as TCP waits for acknowledgements which slow it down a little.
-
If it worked it's likely the ID you allowed was then the same that appeared, if it's not working again then there must be more servers there that haven't yet been allowed, when it's blocked and you click on it does it show allowed or can you then allow it and it'll work? I have passed it on so it will get done
-
As in the RGB on the router isn't triggering to the game configuration or that on SmartBOOST itself the gaming category is not prioritized?
-
Thanks for the reports, we'll be testing the game and will put out a cloud update where necessary. If it's not detecting properly prioritize your device specifically for the moment or use the Call of Duty Content option in the File Sharing folder and it should work.

Are you using game pass by any chance? If so delete the device from the Device Manager, change the PC to a PlayStation in the Device Manager then re-add it and see if it works please. -
That's great to hear, thanks for the comments! Any questions do let us know!

Thanks for the request, I'll add it to the list

gameplay Fifa / ea fc for PS5
Netduma Fraser replied to ruhmer89's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
If your ping is fine then I don't think it will be the router at fault. You could try the rule 1024-65535 TCP/UDP - Normal - Apply to WAN and see if you have an improvement though -
Do keep in mind that the servers will be at their busiest around this launch period and therefore the connection is likely to be at its worst. Try playing during off peak times where possible. We'll be testing the game of course as well.

Yeah I saw that as a comment as well, they tried direct to their modem without other devices connected, it was better, for a few days then returned. They tried through a mobile hotspot, even with the much higher ping it was better, then returned. The only thing I can think of is that you're being lag compensated, I know you said you tried all servers in the UK/EU and I know it seems like the opposite of what you should do and it is but try forcing servers in the US, do you have a better experience?
-
In networking terms all your stats are great and don't indicate that lag would be present. It's a common complaint about those games regardless of how good the ping is, it's all over the EA forums, try this: https://gamerant.com/ea-sports-fc-25-reduce-fix-lag/ when a solution is to reduce the graphics mode on a console that's not a good sign.

BRING BACK SHARING BANDWIDTH TURN OFF OPTION PLEASE!
Netduma Fraser replied to iOrcus's topic in Netduma R3 Support
I'm just trying to get the bottom of it, you say YouTube is using half your bandwidth but it's not using 500Mbps, you also said you didn't have streaming prioritized but in the screenshot you do, hence the confusion. Disable all the priorities other than gaming, add your gaming device as well as a device to SmartBOOST and then see if the same thing happens please. I appreciate where you're coming from but my job is to troubleshoot issues, if we'd just accepted customer diagnosis every time there is an issue we wouldn't get anywhere. If there is an inconsistency in the information or something I'm not understanding then I need clarity in order to proceed. The issues you've described are nothing abnormal as to indicate an underlying software issue, I just need to figure out the cause, the more information I have the better I can do that. If there is a bug then by the time I've determined that I'll have more information to pass onto the developers. If I didn't do this I'd pass it on to them and they'd pass straight back to me because I didn't cover anything. -
My r2 keeps dropping connection and rebooting randomly

Unplug the router from power for 10 minutes, plug in, then wait 4 minutes then attempt it again please - are you trying to update via WiFi or ethernet? -
BRING BACK SHARING BANDWIDTH TURN OFF OPTION PLEASE!
Netduma Fraser replied to iOrcus's topic in Netduma R3 Support
You said it's taking up half your bandwidth but it's using 10Mbps - you have your speeds set at 1000Mbps - which is correct? If you haven't set your speeds correctly this will be why you're having the issues, QoS can't work effectively without knowing your correct bandwidth. -
No need for a volunteer per se but we do try and give back as much as possible to those that help out! That's really great and refreshing to hear, I appreciate it!

Netduma Fraser replied to FeaRvPain's topic in Netduma R2 Support
No way to do it via USB, factory reset then try again please and that should work -
Ah thanks, that's due to the recent wiki update, I'll correct them. You must be the only person who ever actually looks at that view of the forum other than me! Make sure to utilize Congestion Control/SmartBOOST, it's a good idea anyway to prevent issues in a house of multiple occupancy - 1 person downloading will cause issues for the rest, CC/SBOOST will prevent that happening.
