Factory reset Telstra Smart Modem Gen 3
Netduma Fraser replied to TinyBubu's topic in Telstra Internet Optimiser support
Says here it's charged per month: https://www.telstra.com.au/help/critical-information-summaries/personal/gaming/game-optimiser/telstra-game-optimiser so if you change anything you do risk it being disabled really -
Found mislocated servers? Let us know here!
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Call of Duty Support
Thank you, I'll pass those on! -
I'd suggest doing a factory reset first, it's a big change. You can downgrade, just download a previous firmware and 'upgrade' to it

CALL OFDUTY BLACK OPS 6- UNABLE TO CONNECT TO HOST
Netduma Fraser replied to Satiros's topic in Netduma R2 Support
If you could grab the logs when it happens there may be something in it that alludes to the problem but unlikely -
You already have it: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/144-netduma-r2-early-access/

Wifi Working But Ethernet not help pls
Netduma Fraser replied to Itzdannyf's topic in Netduma R3 Support
While connected to the router via a wired Windows PC, open command prompt, type ipconfig press enter and then post a screenshot of the results here please. Do you have the issue with all ports? Do you have the issue with different ethernet cables? Do you have the issue trying with different wired devices? -
Haha no worries, mistakes happen, glad to hear you got it sorted and thanks for the update!

I thought you said above that was fixed? What's the issue now exactly? -
CALL OFDUTY BLACK OPS 6- UNABLE TO CONNECT TO HOST
Netduma Fraser replied to Satiros's topic in Netduma R2 Support
You said you still get the issue with the Geo-Filter disabled right? So that's unlikely to be it and there is no other reason it would lose connection to the server. The firmware on there hasn't changed for years so shouldn't be a sudden issue really - if you could grab the logs when it happens there may be something in it that alludes to the problem but unlikely -
NEW R3 FIRMWARE - DumaOS 4.0.540
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Netduma R3 Support
These ping differences you're seeing on the test, does this ever translate to in game or are you purely focused on this test to determine how good your connection is? Will have a look thanks Glad you were able to get updated in the end, thanks for the update! -
It should, how are you determining it isn't resetting, the lights aren't cycling? No that's not possible. While connected to the router via a wired Windows PC, open command prompt, type ipconfig press enter and then post a screenshot of the results here please.

R3 loses ppoe connection every 24 hrs
Netduma Fraser replied to extremeborg's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Did you factory reset after upgrading? You seem to be the online person having the issue so it's not necessarily an easy thing to determine the cause, if after a factory reset it continues please grab the logs again when it happens, there may be some new information -
It will work with what you've mentioned. Have you entered the VLAN ID into the router also as well as PPPoE?
-
Good advice above, the IP for it is likely 10.0.0.1

CALL OFDUTY BLACK OPS 6- UNABLE TO CONNECT TO HOST
Netduma Fraser replied to Satiros's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Do you notice anything blocked on the Geo-Filter when that happens? Would be best to make your own topic also It could be your router LAN IP address that you've changed, could you revert this to the default and see if it works more consistently please? -
What firmware version are you on currently? Unplug the router from power for 10 minutes, plug in, then wait 4 minutes, hold the reset button for 30 seconds, then wait 4 minutes before accessing the interface

Xr500 geo filter unable to add device
Netduma Fraser replied to Vipeeeer's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
No only the XR500 is exposed to the internet which is what we want, the XR500 has a firewall so it's just literally like if you were to swap the fritz for the XR -
Right click the page, then go to Inspect (Element), on the window that appears click on the Network tab. Then click the checkbox to disable cache. Then click and hold the browser refresh button, and click Empty Cache and Hard Reload. Then see if it loads correctly please.
