  1. If QoS is working correctly i.e. there percentages you set are then the speeds you receive from a speedtest then 1a will be the best setup, if not then 2b.
  2. I'd suggest you run through everything here first: https://support.netduma.com/docs/dumaos-3/ Then if you have any questions/issues after that let us know and we can work them out
  3. What is your Congestion Control set to? What are both your pings as shown by the Geo-Filter/in game?
  4. Unfortunately there was only 3 minutes worth of logs in that one so it's not covering it
  5. In terms of the Geo-Filter it can work with your existing setup, if you want QoS to be properly effective though then it would need to be at the top of the network so it can have everything connected to it. In terms of specs the R3 is no match for that one so I suspect you'd probably want to keep it at the top.
  6. That's great, thank you very much. Copy the Asus router MAC address, then disconnect it, put back the modem > R3 setup and in R3 settings change the MAC address to the Asus one you copied. Apply, reboot the modem, wait 2 minutes, reboot the R3, wait 4 minutes then check if you have internet please.
  7. No not on heatmap, that's what you're requesting us to do but on the Geo-Filter do you see the server on the map when playing?
  8. Have you seen the server on the Geo-Filter? Have you got the ID for it?
  9. In this case at least it was because your public IP lease renewed, are you able to contact the ISP to see if they can extend the lease time for the public IP for you? Better yet if they could give you a static public IP? Unlikely as it's usually something that costs extra
  10. I rarely see any games regardless of the company have any servers in Canada - are you 100% sure there are those servers? How do you know?
  11. Okay that's good, on the AC5300, could you provide a screenshot of its internet settings please?
  12. You can set them individually, Geo-Latency and doing Ping Assist in the ocean essentially invalidates the method you're trying to use. Though the reason it wasn't working was because your value must have been set too low, if you set it higher it should work without Geo-Latency enabled
  13. It doesn't make any sense how a game could restart the router - are your gaming device and the R2 connected to the same power extender?
  14. Connect the R3 to your old router, can you get internet through it that way?
  15. You can still use the Geo-Filter to get the servers you want, it doesn't prevent you doing that. A request isn't a guarantee that it will be included or included in the next update, as soon as they can test the game and add it they will. I would put money on the servers for NHL being the exact same as EA FC - they're not going to invest in all that infrastructure and then not use it across their other games
  16. I appreciate that thank you. It's a really tricky balance, if the community is annoyed then I also get annoyed on your behalf and do my best to expedite things but some things are outside my control, if I could code I'd jump in and help out but just don't possess that skill set.
  17. Could you get me a log directly after the disconnect happens and tell me the time it happens so I can match it up/more easily find the corresponding lot entries please?
  18. It's all about finding what works best for you - that ping assist method we never even thought of anyone doing that and yet some people swear by it. See if you can try that hotspot thing I mentioned, it would be interesting to see your results
  19. That could be for any number of reasons, start a new topic and let us know more about your setup and how you've got the features set and we can help further.
  20. That's certainly your prerogative, I understand your situation and frustrations - I think it's worth waiting for the next one but if you do end up selling it then I sincerely wish you well with everything
  21. Apologies, try again now
  22. It's the one pinned to the top of that sub forum
  23. I responded to your other topic
  24. That's literally what I'm saying, you're basing your whole argument on the fact that a support forum is filled with bugs, yes it will be but that also only represents a very small percentage of the customer base. I'll admit, I have to remind myself of that too sometimes and to be careful not to fall into the echo chamber of issues. I'm not going to deny it has issues/bugs, that is evident from looking at the forum - in some cases these are easily reproduceable by ourselves, others are more fringe issues that take more investigation but I'm also not going to deny that all this "evidence" is coming from a very small percentage of users, it doesn't mean everyone with an R3 has an issue. Granted it also doesn't mean that everyone not posting doesn't have an issue either. To assume that everyone has an issue based on the contents of a support forum is what I'm saying is an incorrect basis for an argument. Anyway, that's all I say on the matter, no need to get into a point scoring match where no one wins. The team will be back, they'll fix the blocker issues for that firmware that was mentioned and everyone will get to test it.
  25. Are any other devices losing the internet when the Xbox does or just the Xbox? Do you notice any patterns as to what may be happening in your surroundings or with what devices may be being used at the same time when it disconnects?
