R3 v4.0.402 UPnP & Black Ops 6 Stuck 200ms Searching?
Netduma Fraser replied to exodus1337's topic in Netduma R3 Support
It may be worth a try, not all bridge modes are made equal and one I had on an ISP router wasn't very good but performed better with the DMZ so give it a go and let us know how you get on. -
NEW XR500 BETA FIRMWARE: 3.3.535
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Lew's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
We pushed out a cloud update this week that's being applied incrementally, by tomorrow it will reach 100% rollout. You can also resync the cloud to get it. If that doesn't fix it please downgrade - though it is more likely to be cloud vs firmware given the recent nature of the issue. -
R3 v4.0.402 UPnP & Black Ops 6 Stuck 200ms Searching?
Netduma Fraser replied to exodus1337's topic in Netduma R3 Support
What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode -
Congestion Control isn't active with those settings, changed download & upload to 70% on Always and see if that improves it

some rubberbanding in Valorant/MRivals on new R3
Netduma Fraser replied to V1k1's topic in Netduma R3 Support
The thing is it's an almost constant on going process with DPI and traffic detection, and we don't have or make public any timelines for any sorts of updates as they're always subject to change. One of the next big firmwares I *think* will help overall with this. It is normal for it to go offline when you're in the lobby actually playing but obviously it should trigger again when playing. I don't think we would have gamed, stopped and re-queued when testing so that's probably why it's happened. Yes if you provided a capture for that it would be very helpful and yes it would help speed up an update but I couldn't say how long it may take. No I don't think that would be a feature, at least not for awhile. When we get to more user request based features it could be a possibility. No there isn't a way to do that on DumaOS 4 currently. -

There is a cloud update rolling out incrementally currently, it will be at 100% by tomorrow so that may resolve it, you can resync the cloud to get it quicker and see if that helps. Otherwise there will be a new firmware shortly with lots of stability improvements -
All that information is safe to post. It may be because you're using the IDs for your connection, would you be able to have your upstream modem/router handle this with the router then in its DMZ and see if that resolves it please?

NEW R3 FIRMWARE - DumaOS 4.0.290

Fair enough, I will request it again. It is possible the server is mislocated on the map which is why you don't see it, although you may connect to it

Do you actually get into a game lower than 200 even though that's what it says it is searching for? -
Thanks for trying, we'll have a new firmware soon that will be more stable overall and should fix this, keep an eye out for it
-
Networking is not a stable thing, the server load changes, your ISP load changes etc, depends on the time of day, time of the year etc. What you're doing is actually great and what I would personally recommend, find the settings that work for you and then fine tune them again when they're not working.

some rubberbanding in Valorant/MRivals on new R3
Netduma Fraser replied to V1k1's topic in Netduma R3 Support
It's either to do with how we've tested the game or we need to update the cloud again for it. You should prioritize the device as well, this will act as a backup prioritization should it not detect correctly for whatever reason. We can look into updating it again in the New Year when the team have more time. -
I've given you Early Access, see if once you upgrade to that you're able to connect properly https://forum.netduma.com/forum/144-netduma-r2-early-access/

Cannot connect to call of duty servers

Clear your browser cache/cookies and then it should stop redirecting you. Don't use the benchmark for speeds, what do you see on speedtest.net? How is Congestion Control set? Disable Adblocker and see if that speeds up loading -
That all appears to be fine, could you provide screenshots of the speeds you've set, Congestion Control, SmartBOOST, VPN, LAN/WAN pages, Adblocker please

I'll respond to you via email

@MarcoP you're determining the usefulness of the entire product based upon a singular feature not working all the time but you don't need that feature specifically to have a good connection to the game, it's a small additional feature that can help not the sole feature needed. Utilizing the router the best requires experimentation with the features to find what works specifically for you - you want Steady Ping to work and won't use it without it but you don't know whether it would actually benefit you or not considering it hasn't worked so far.
-
They were saying UPnP does this all for you so you shouldn't necessarily need to do port forwarding but yes it does work, as long as you're forwarding the correct ports that the game actually wants/needs to use. The ports to use are normally readily available when you search for them online. If you think it's not working for whatever reason show us the rules you've made please.

NetdumaR2 nach reboot immer auf reset
Netduma Fraser replied to VeniVidiVici's topic in Netduma R2 Support
There is no one specific number you need to put, just as it says, the higher the number the higher the priority. -
No not that I am aware of - add gaming as well but the device priority will be enough
