Having connection problems, connecting to overseas servers
Netduma Fraser replied to nowngamer's topic in Netduma R3 Support
What is the ping you're getting to the game now as shown by the Geo-Filter? I can't recall if the game shows it but if so what ping does it show there? -

GeoFilter Not Working After New BO6 Update
Netduma Fraser replied to alecjb12's topic in Call of Duty Support
Give it a resync and check again, if it continues please provide the IDs of the servers that appear to be whitelisted. -
No a later version than that

Having connection problems, connecting to overseas servers

Okay but with it disabled did it resolve the issue of getting games outside your radius? Try with Steady Ping disabled also. Do keep in mind as well that it's a busy time of year, game servers and also ISPs will be experiencing heavy load and so even without changing anything you may notice degradation in game performance on occasion. -

If you were having the same issue then yes it should, resync the cloud and check again -
Netgear Nighthawk XR300 pro gaming router
Netduma Fraser replied to mccoy423's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Untick the option "Use router as DHCP server" and save, then reboot the router, wait 4 minutes and check. Any new devices you want to add you'll need to set a static/reserved IP on the device itself first, then you can set it on the router. -
I think the DHCP issue you're referring to is the one where you need to set the reserved IPs. Unfortunately that's a Netgear issue that we've informed them of years ago and it's not something we have the access to fix. Could you reboot please then as soon as the error comes back get the log immediately please? I'm keen to see what happens on the logs prior to it happening, that log doesn't cover it I don't think.

Unable to connect to Los Angeles servers
Netduma Fraser replied to Moofda's topic in Netduma R1 Support
There is literally nothing else blocked on the entire map? If so that is odd because the router won't be blocking it, at least not with the Geo-Filter. If you disable filtering/switch to spectating mode so you can still see where you connect to do you ever get the LA server? -

Okay and is it any better now? -
Having connection problems, connecting to overseas servers

It's Geo-Latency, disable that, reboot the console then try again please -
What do you mean there is a DHCP problem error exactly? Can you provide a screenshot of that please? Could you provide the full log please? This firmware has been out for a year and a half with this issue so it's a new one, not something we would have seen initially. It's likely it's a cloud update that can fix it. I've already let the team know about it so they can look into it. Given the time of year though it's unlikely it'll be able to be looked at properly until the new year.

Zoom out fully on the map and check to see if there is a blocked icon when this happens, if so add that to the allow list and let us know what the ID is -

You already have it, click the link above

There will be a new one in the coming days that should hopefully permanently resolve this, it has a lot of fixes, we're just finishing it up.

As you rightly mentioned it is a Netgear router so all those aspects are something they would handle themselves, not something we would get involved with. You can follow the security alerts/updates they have made here: https://www.netgear.com/about/security/ by clicking on one of those alerts it will show you the routers it applies to and on what version it was resolved on. Any recent fixes they've mentioned there will be included in this version. Unclear at this time how the security updates may work going forward. I suspect they will continue pushing the security updates out for the 3.1/3.0 version and provide us with the necessary fix to apply to the beta but I can't be certain.
