  1. That's your ping to that server, it doesn't mean that your ping to games etc will be that high or low, it's just to that specific server. If it's way off then you can just ignore it, any changes it makes to improve that ping will still apply/benefit your connection. It will not be the cause of jitter for your games, that'll be for other reasons - what is the ping you're seeing in game/on the Geo-Filter? MAC address doesn't have anything to do with that so changing it won't make a different. It's not possible to change the server that is used - it's whatever the service we use deems to be the closest, I don't know what specific server that would be for you.
  2. I've responded to you there
  3. For whatever reason, your PA setting isn't catching any servers that it can allow so either the game servers are under load (likely) and so you need to raise the ping more to compensate or you have some traffic on your network causing your ping to rise, in which case adjusting Congestion Control should eliminate that and bring your ping down for it to catch something.

  5. It looks as though you may be new so you may not be aware: "for Nighthawk Pro Gaming routers, we have some more unfortunate news: as things stand, DumaOS 4 will not be coming to these units. As you can probably tell, it has been a challenge getting these models onto DumaOS 3.3, for reasons outside of our control." it's more of a public firmware at this point - it would have been by this point under normal circumstances. That is true, I was referring to the install issues you had though, I would think that if it took someone 2-3 hours for a 10 minute upgrade that they would mention it, like you have. I know it's not a smooth install - upgrading to a specific firmware first then to the final one isn't ideal and if that doesn't work upgrading to a different one and then the final one is worse but given the circumstances I mentioned that was the only solution. My point being, that was your install experience and I'm glad you've shared it, however implying as though everyone will experience that is what I disagree with because it certainly hasn't been for all the people that have done it and commented. I'm not going to dissuade people from installing a firmware that a small handful of people have had a specific issue with, issues can exist for some people and not exist for others and we have to try and fix it for those who experience it. Anyway, I wasn't and won't argue with you, all I was saying was thank you - thank you for providing the method for you that worked while also providing a disclaimer essentially for others that it isn't necessarily something that will happen to them based on one persons install experience. You're frustrated, I get it, it wasn't an attack on you but a PSA for everyone else.
  6. Not a specific video no - so it starts the search at 66 but you do end up with a game where the in game ping is similar to what the Geo-Filter shows?
  7. You have a tiny radius that covers no game servers, you'll need to cover a game server and then it should work fine
  8. I'll chase them and see where they're at with it
  9. No not currently, keep an eye on Early Access for any updates
  10. I'll chase again - the team have to prioritize the games they work on so sometimes ones like this will take longer to get supported
  11. Disable the Geo-Filter before you launch the game, does it work first time without the error then?
  12. Okay gotcha, thanks do keep us posted! No worries at all.
  13. It's not a plug and play router really, to get the most out of it settings should be optimised. Could you try the above, port forwarding on and UPnP off please?
  14. What is that socket? I'm not familiar with it. Are you using the power plug we provided you? He can do that because there are multiple servers in the US. You cannot because there is only one server in Brazil.
  15. I've removed you and re-added you, please see if that works
  16. Good to hear, thanks for the update!
  17. It should show on the UPnP page
  18. A static public IP or you've set a static IP for your gaming device? Could you contact the ISP and see if they could extend the lease time to see if that helps please?
  19. Gotcha, thanks. What ports are UPnP trying to open when you have that on?
  20. No, it's just the same link, it's local, it would just take me to my logs. I can't use that file, just right click the page, click save as and then save it as a txt file
  21. Yes you can absolutely do that if you wish to. Just keep in mind the QoS/SmartBOOST will not be as effective as it cannot control your entire network properly.
  22. Please, I implore you to answer my specific questions, you mention an issue, I provide troubleshooting steps and you don't answer/try them and state an update is needed. If you don't answer the questions/steps I provide then we will continue going in circles with no resolution. If you don't want to troubleshoot and wait for an update that is absolutely fine but don't be surprised if it doesn't fix your issue because unless I can confirm an issue is legitamate I cannot tell the developers to resolve it. For the RGB: Are you using the power adapter that we provided? Do you have it connected to a power extender or direct to an outlet? If an extender please try direct to an outlet. Do you have another power adapter you could try with? For the Geo-Filter (I've even copied it over from your other topic for you): Please let me know if I'm not explaining this in a way you can understand as I've explained it many times You cannot influence what players you play against You can only influence the servers you play on You cannot play other states in Brazil - there is only 1 server in the entirety of Brazil You can force servers in other countries though that is not the purpose of the router You found a mislocated server on the map when you provided the screenshot of the US server - it was actually in Brazil - this is easily fixed. It does not mean wherever you put your radius you will get Brazil. To test if you can play on a server in another country, move the location/radius to the East coast of the US and then search for a game.
  23. You cannot really affect it whatsoever in that circumstance, it's likely that their servers are more under load now given the time of year
  24. Your public IP seems to be renewing every 10 minutes for some reason which is insanely often. What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode
