  1. Great to hear you got it sorted, thanks for the update/solution, sounds like the factory reset didn't go through properly
  2. You will get a higher ping using a VPN, that's expected - you can't connect to the game even without the VPN enabled? What other features have you adjusted on the R1?
  3. Mentioned in the post "You can install the firmware via Settings > Troubleshooting > Upload Firmware, and upload the file"
  4. Right click the page, then go to Inspect (Element), on the window that appears click on the Network tab. Then click the checkbox to disable cache. Then click and hold the browser refresh button, and click Empty Cache and Hard Reload. Then see if it loads correctly please.
  5. That's what I was wanting to know - it's not something to do with the R3 then, you may need to contact EE to have them help you with it
  6. What is the model of the modem/router the R1 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R1? E.g. R1 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode There isn't too much other than the Geo-Filter that could be blocking it but disable QoS fully from the Congestion Control does it continue then?
  7. Have you checked whether you get the same issue with the console connected direct to the powerhub?
  8. That'll be around the max you can achieve with PPPoE I think. If you connect your hub back then have it handle PPPoE then have the R3 in its DMZ you'll likely get higher speeds
  9. No your gaming device connected directly to the EE router either via ethernet or WiFi
  10. In settings grab the logs from the troubleshooting > advanced page please and attach it here. Also disable BI in troubleshooting settings, reboot from the interface, wait 4 minutes then access and see if it loads better please
  11. Have you checked whether you get an Open NAT directly connected to the new smart hub?
  12. Delete the downloaded firmware from your PC, re-download it from the topic and then from the recovery options, re-upgrade to the same firmware version, close the tab, wait 4 minutes then access again, does it work then?
  13. Do you get the same connected directly to your modem? Is it possible you're shadow banned? If you login with your account here: https://support.activision.com/ban-appeal does it say under review?
  14. I'm chasing the team and will come back to you. In the meantime have you tried the above?
  15. What do you mean is the update working? FIFA seems to be renowned for those types of issues. 2.4GHz is better stability wise but because of that most wireless devices even headphones etc use it so it could be prone to interference from other devices. 5GHz is mainly just good for speeds but walls, distance, other devices can impact it much more easily. Unrecognised in what way?
  16. The ping and packet loss doesn't change whatsoever so I can't see it being a specific network issue as there is no change in the stats. I don't know if this applies as I've not used XIM so not sure how it differs but I've found a few suggestions: Somehow the aiming input changed from controller to mouse. Reset the setting and it was fine. If you have two devices e.g. headphones, controller etc operating on the same wireless frequency they can interact with each other Apparently if you have Discord linked to the console it can cause it - disconnect it then restart the console
  17. Great explanation of it above! If it connects with WPS then it should work but we don't have specific support with mesh/haven't tested mesh. If it's not listed in the change log it generally won't be included. If major issues are resolved then the team can look at smaller issues like this No worries, I'll chat with the dev again and see what they can do and get back to you, either here or in the other topic. Glad to hear you got it sorted! BI is more for the priority aspect though Geo-Latency can essentially do that for you for the most part. Where are you testing the speeds exactly, on the router? If so, what do you get on speedtest.net?
  18. Added you both You could attempt to throttle your overall speeds very low to see if the game compensates the other way - try lowering the percentages to result in 1Mbps for download/upload.
  19. Looking very good, thanks for the update!
  20. Are you able to access via a PC instead of the app/mobile web browser? Did you factory reset after installing initially? How have you done a factory reset exactly?
  21. Please provide the logs from the System Information page when you next get the disconnect
  22. The only difference between the standard and v2 is a CPU change, there is no functional difference between them. Assuming you bought the $166 variant on Amazon.com, if you look at the seller, it isn't Netgear, so I doubt they will be as particular about the model they're selling, they probably don't even know there is a difference. Amazon has a great return policy so the thing to do is just return it if it isn't the right one. It's no ones fault other than the seller on Amazon.
  23. The ports on the R3 are 1Gbps so you won't ever see 1.2 through it. Where are you testing the speeds, on speedtest.net? The WiFi speeds are quite good, what do you get via ethernet? You don't need to worry about network settings like that unless you know what you're doing/doing something specific - it won't have an impact on your game quality. The only thing I would suggest at this stage is changing Congestion Control percentages to 70% for download/upload to start and see how you get on. You can also take a look at the wiki support.netduma.com for any further information you may need.
  24. Thanks for the feedback, if you could provide some more information about your issues I'd be happy to help. Also, DumaOS 4 is in Early Access for the R2 so bugs are expected.
