Great to hear that, thanks for the update!

Nothing yet, I've brought it up again, thanks for the push

You can disregard the modem comments I said then thank you. How have you set Congestion Control? What service did you select for PC? Have you noticed any difference now?
-
No you can't do that unfortunately. You could enable just 2.4GHz WiFi on the R3, hide the broadcast and just have your phone be able to connect to it and use the DumaOS app to access.

Internet not working

What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode -
You can't connect to the R3 from the WAN. Yes that sounds fine otherwise for what you want to do with it

What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the R3? What are the speeds you pay for/receive? Have you entered those speeds into the router? How have you setup Congestion Control? How have you setup SmartBOOST? What game are you playing? What platform are you playing on and how is it connected, via ethernet or WiFi? How have you setup the Geo-Filter? The WiFi channels you have selected are available in the US? You've disabled Smart Connect is that right? Add the voice server to the allow list, it'll just be for voice, it won't impact your game connection.

A browser based Adblocker could also be blocking it. What web browser/device are you using to change it? If you try another does it work?

Great to hear you got it sorted, thanks for the update! -
You'll have to connect a device via ethernet and setup that way and change the password during the wizard

Steady Ping not stabilizing
Netduma Fraser replied to YT_LowPingKing's topic in Call of Duty Support
Game servers don't respond to traditional pings so we try to be clever in order to get a successful ping but it doesn't always work. It will then try to fall back to the trace method which won't give you the correct ping in most cases but hopefully somewhere near it, however this can also fail. Then because it's unable to determine the true ping it can't know what value it needs to apply with Steady Ping. We're working on a new ping method that may help but I don't have an ETA for this. -
What a nice change of pace, thanks for the kind words and feedback! That has been requested so it's on the list, I've brought up trying to get some user requests in recently so hopefully we'll do that That's been mentioned before but can't be done with a toggle switch, it would require two versions of the same firmware so not sure about that Thanks for the suggestion, you can prioritize them really low with the advanced SmartBOOST and it should have a similar effect. Thank you very much!

NEW R3 FIRMWARE - DumaOS 4.0.540
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Netduma R3 Support
@dinego Can you give us some of the stats you're seeing on this please? The team are aware and looking into it You can ignore those, it won't cause any issues Port Forwarding and Bandwidth reservation are completely different features, they won't cause conflicts. It won't be limiting, it's just reserving bandwidth. -- No they don't pose a problem You can disable IPv6 in WAN/LAN settings. If you don't have HybridVPN enabled it will be disabled. No reserving bandwidth won't do anything, gaming doesn't require much anyway. Prioritize it and have Congestion Control active. ^ No, it's something the team need to resolve -
Use the simple radius instead, does that allow you into a game?

Wifi Working But Ethernet not help pls
Netduma Fraser replied to Itzdannyf's topic in Netduma R3 Support
It was potentially acting like a switch which is why you got internet. Good to hear, would suggest upgrading again letting the router do it, wait for it to complete then factory reset, wait 4 minutes and check again -
It's unlikely you'll have been able to block every single server but: Disable GeoLatency Disable PingAssist (set it to 0,0) Enable Strict Mode Disable Fast Search Use Simple instead of Custom radius Then restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game). If that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and it shouldn't get you any games outside your radius.

Wifi Working But Ethernet not help pls
Netduma Fraser replied to Itzdannyf's topic in Netduma R3 Support
You'd find those options on the ISP modem/router interface. Modem/bridge disables all its functions and passes the internet straight through to the R3. DMZ just passes the internet straight through to the R3. You can download previous versions from here: https://support.netduma.com/firmwares/netduma-r3/ then just upload the file to the router like you were going to upgrade it -
It's not something we can really help with, also there are multiple servers clustered in a singular location so you'd have to be lucky to get into the same game

Wifi Working But Ethernet not help pls
Netduma Fraser replied to Itzdannyf's topic in Netduma R3 Support
If your ISP modem/router has WiFi, set it up so that it is in bridge or modem mode, you can also use the DMZ. Copy the WAN IP from the R3 (found in Settings > WAN) and enter it into the DMZ function on the ISP modem/router. Disable IPv6 in LAN/WAN on the R3 and enable remote support in Settings > Troubleshooting. Then post back here from a device connected to the R3 when you've done that and I'll try to get a dev to have a look tomorrow. A customer can't diagnose a fault requiring a replacement, it's likely a dev can determine the problem and fix it -
Could you provide the log when it happens please, prior to a reboot and we can take a look

Do the devices that are connected via ethernet show up in the Device Manager at all, either online or offline? Are the wired devices set for automatic network connects or have you previously set static details on them -

It's something we're aware of that I've passed onto the team. For now set your speeds & congestion control manually -

What Geo-Filter/QoS settings did you change exactly?
