  1. Reboot the ONU, wait 2 minutes then reboot the R3, wait 4 minutes and then check if you get internet. If not, check if the bridge needs to be updated - if its set by IP address for example
  2. It's because you have speed test bypass enabled in the Congestion Control settings
  3. Safari forces HTTPS so try a different browser please, check if that browser forces HTTPS and if so disable it for the interface. If it still occurs could you change the LAN IP of the router back to default and see if that works better please?
  4. If devices are still being used on the EE router at the time it will affect your results. Follow this guide https://support.netduma.com/frequently-asked-questions/legacyfaqs/test-your-ping/ while downloading & start with 95% for Congestion Control (set to Always), check results, decrease by 10%, check, decrease by 10% etc, until you get to a value that is pretty good & then try 5% either side of that value to see if it can be improved. Download & Upload on Congestion Control don't have to be the same value & you may have a better experience with differing values.
  5. On the bottom graph what is the minimum ms you're seeing and the avg max? Maximize the window and it should be clearer to see A singular download should take all your speed so if it's not then do one on your PC also
  6. The EE router? What do you mean by Congestion Control is on, it's a percentage based feature, what have you set it to?
  7. What are the range of values 7-10ms? That's pretty good. Congestion Control applies right away, I'm not sure what you mean by offloads but downloads would be needed to truly saturate the connection so you can find the best value
  8. There is no specific reason packet loss would just suddenly occur, especially if it's not on the ISP side so I can only provide you with suggestions that I know can help with such an issue.
  9. No worries, totally get it, I'm sure it will help, fingers crossed you get it soon!
  10. Good to hear, means it has the latest cloud, I don't think they added anything.
  11. If all devices are connected to the R3 you can utilize Congestion Control for bufferbloat and you can use the Geo-Filter, if you only have 1 device connected to the R3 then just the Geo-Filter will be effective.
  12. To force servers you need to do the following: It's essential the Geo-Filter is enabled before the game client (e.g. Steam etc) if on PC or platform (e.g. Xbox, PlayStation) or the game have been launched. If you change Geo-Filter settings when you're on the game then you will need to restart the game for those changes to take effect, otherwise it will use the previous Geo-Filter settings and appear not to be working. For settings ensure Ping Assist and Geo-Latency are disabled in the Geo-Filter menu that can be found by clicking ⋮ in the top right hand corner of the page and go to Settings. Strict Mode should also be enabled, it is enabled by default so if you haven't disabled it you can ignore it. If you have disabled it or want to check it can be found in the same Settings menu as above or in Settings > Troubleshooting > Advanced > Developer Options depending on your firmware version. Fast Search should also be disabled which it is by default so can be ignored if you haven't changed it, otherwise this can be found in the same place.
  13. Yes that's correct. Okay check the IP on the device itself and then check that against the device you think it is on the Device Manager, do the IPs match?
  14. If you set it up again that way we can help with those issues also.
  15. That's correct, do this: Quit the application/game/client completely - including the game client from the System Tray - important! Remove device from the Geo-Filter Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client It's essential the Geo-Filter is enabled before the game client or the game have been launched. If you change Geo-Filter settings when you're on the game then you will need to restart the game for those changes to take effect, otherwise it will use the previous Geo-Filter settings and appear not to be working.
  16. I can only go based on the information provided and what I can see are various aspects of your setup that could cause packet loss and instability so I can't rule them out. Networking has many variables and things change all the time. If you haven't changed anything then it is quite possible it's on the ISP side, the first step would be to see if you get the same issue when connected to the ISP modem/router. If you do then that's the cause, if you don't then you'd need to setup in the way I mentioned as much as possible to rule out those possibilities. I'm sure if you set it up again that way we can help with those issues also.
  17. How isn't it working properly exactly? By labelled do you mean you renamed it or you gave it the PlayStation device type?
  18. Okay so just a normal extender then, that's not what bridge mode is really. The extender being connected to the XR via WiFi is going to have some inherent instability and due to your setup traffic has more hops to go so I'd ideally suggest you connect to the your PC directly to the XR if possible. Also not connecting devices to the XR so it isn't congested isn't advised, the XR is designed to specifically deal with multiple devices and congestion, ALL devices should be connected to the XR so it can control the entire network effectively. You've setup Congestion Control how exactly - an in your current setup that's essentially doing nothing, connect everything to the XR then fine tune your Congestion Control settings. Traffic Prioritization will then also be effective as currently it's not prioritizing your PC over anything if it is setup.
  19. Do you have an Open NAT? Have you made any port forwarding rules or internet rules on the R3?
  20. You would need to ensure ALL devices are connected to the R3 in that scenario, stop any devices auto connecting to the ISP modem/router. It's likely you would just need to fine tune your Congestion Control/SmartBOOST settings to get a better experience. We are working on the PPPoE issue.
  21. 1% isn't terrible overall, you should be able to play without too many issues, any higher than that and you would definitely notice issues. Where are you measuring the packet loss, using the in game stats or elsewhere? You've used a website above for that test, under what circumstances did you perform the test, i.e. what was happening on the network at the time? What do you mean by bridge mode exactly in this scenario? Is your setup EE router > XR1000 > Extender > PC? Is the extender connected via WiFi or ethernet to the XR1000? How have you set the EE router to ensure all traffic flows to the XR? E.g XR in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the XR1000 or extender or do you still have some connected to the EE router? What are the speeds you pay for/receive? Have you entered those speeds into the router? How have you setup Congestion Control? How have you setup Traffic Prioritization?
  22. Just to clarify, is your issue with joining matches or just pinging?
  23. Thank you for the feedback, I'll pass it on
  24. Good to hear, thanks for the update! You have access now should you need it/ever want to try it.
  25. We are aware of some users getting disconnects with PPPoE, so go back to the default settings on your ISP modem/router and then just add the R3 WAN IP (found on the R3 in Settings > WAN or the IP shown on the ISP modem/router as a connected device) into the DMZ on the ISP modem/router. The ISP modem/router should then handle PPPoE/VLAN instead of the R3 and you shouldn't get any more disconnects when connected to the R3.
