  1. So if you connect via WiFi instead to the router rather than the hotspot does it work?
  2. Thank you, have you tried the following, if not please do so: Clear cache for Battle.net: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Qx6kSeH2Jg Uninstall then reinstall Battle.net You're using WiFi on the PC to the R3 right - have you split the WiFi bands, if so which are you connecting to 2.4GHz or 5GHz? If you haven't, split them then try each band to see if there is a difference. Are you able to test via ethernet to the router?
  3. I think setting QoS policies on the PC is more likely to confuse matters, I would revert that so we can know it's not affecting it whatsoever. Then what error specifically are you getting when going onto Battle.net/the game with Geo-Filter & SmartBOOST fully disabled?
  4. It's better to get a summary from you of what happened for example - you did this how? "Removed endpoint DSCP marking" Disable SmartBOOST fully from the menu, does it work then?
  5. Disabling DHCP prevents the router from dynamically providing IPs to devices - you should only ever disable DHCP if you have given devices static/reserved IPs either on the router or the device itself. It is likely that when the DHCP lease tried to renew that is when the issue became known. You do not need to disable DHCP for any performance gains.
  6. The longer the cable the more subject to interference it is but it's usually fine up to ~100 meters. However with such a long cable it is much harder to determine if there are any kinks or internal breaks for example
  7. Do you get the same issue on another device? Are you saying you changed the ethernet cable to a new one because you were having the issue?
  8. It is on the Geo-Filter as Arc Raiders / The Finals. I haven't tested it personally but give it a try!
  9. Have you rebooted the router since the new speeds? If not, reboot from the interface, close the interface, wait 4 minutes then access, do you get the issue again? Do you get the issue on other devices if you test with those?
  10. Do you get the issue connected to any of the other ports? Check your PC ethernet adapter is it set to auto negotiate? Either way set to 1Gbps and see if it is better then
  11. That's great, you can be assured then that you've done everything you can on your side. If you have to play those P2P games with specific opponents then there isn't anything else you can do
  12. If you've fine tuned your QoS settings as best as possible then there isn't really anything else you can do
  13. The router wouldn't do that so no - what ping are you getting, does it fluctuate?
  14. The Geo-Filter doesn't slow down packets, it just allows or denies a connection. A server will have more of a consistent connection whereas a person may not, if could be affected by any devices in their home so there isn't a way for you to make a connection to a peer more stable other than what you normally do to keep it stable on your side. Best thing is to block them so you don't play them again.
  15. Good to hear you've had an improved experience. Yes it can handle that load. I don't know what your speeds are still, ignore the in built speed test/optimizer and set speeds manually and adjust Congestion Control manually until you get the best results possible. CoD does block pings so not seeing a ping for it is normal, we may have a workaround but couldn't say when/if that may be implemented/work.
  16. Where are you measuring the packet loss? Are all devices losing connection? Does it come back by itself or do you need to reboot? How often is it happening? What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the R3? What are the speeds you pay for/receive? Have you entered those speeds into the router? How have you setup Congestion Control? How have you setup SmartBOOST? What game are you playing? What platform are you playing on and how is it connected, via ethernet or WiFi? How have you setup the Geo-Filter? I've given you Early Access so you can try the firmware there: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/ In Settings > DHCP > Add Rules > Select Device > Save. Do that each device you're noticing the disconnects on. Then in DHCP > Advanced change the lease time to 10000, save, reboot the router from the interface and see if it happens again please. For WiFi: Split the bands, give 2.4/5GHz different names and apply - you'll want to connect to 5GHz specifically for speeds Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _
  17. Gaming requires very little bandwidth so the amounts shown are actually accurate but if disabling it works better for you that's fine, we just provide the tools, it's up to you how you use them. You could also try disabling gaming and prioritizing the device instead.
  18. Not sure what you mean but also you should really do it on a wired PC if possible. If you don't have ALL devices connected to the router they should be, any connected to your ISP modem/router can negatively affect it. The ISP modem/router should also be in modem/bridge mode or have the router in its DMZ.
  19. Exactly as above, change percentage, retest, rinse repeat until you get the best values you can get
  20. Your ping is good so unlikely to be anything specifically on your end. Try forcing different servers even if the ping is slightly higher it may play better
  21. That ping is absolutely fine - are you actually getting games within your Geo-Filter radius?
  22. I've given you Early Access so you can update to the firmware there to see if it improves: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/ Try these suggestions: Split the bands, give 2.4/5GHz different names and apply - you'll want to connect to 5GHz specifically for speeds Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _ If it continues after the update and trying these suggestions please provide the logs when it next happens.
  23. It's from February last year, you've been added: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/
  24. There aren't any statistics you've provided like the ping you're getting, where you're located, what Geo-Filter settings you're using etc for me to really answer that question. There are also variables like the server load that can impact it that are out of the routers control
