  1. Is that on speedtest.net or Connection Benchmark? Can you provide a screenshot of your QoS page please?
  2. Okay that's all good then so the spikes seem to just be to Google. Now I'd suggest saturating your connection with downloads/streams and see what Congestion Control percentages keep the ping as low as possible on PingPlotter.
  3. You can ignore the hops really as the bottom graph is the most important part, can you do a 10minute plot please as a few minutes won't necessarily show issues if there are any
  4. Can you expand on what you mean by that exactly?
  5. I usually recommend against rebooting by unplugging if you have access but it won't have caused an issue. That is the correct version. There is no specific confirmation once you connect back that it has rebooted, although you can look in the logs and it would start a few minutes after you rebooted it.
  6. Benchmark uses the Google servers for the ping tests so firstly I'd run a PingPlotter to a different site such as a local news site and see if that big spike happens there as well or if its just to Google. If it's just to Google then you could ignore it and use the new site to test for the best QoS settings. Follow this guide while saturating the connection with downloads, streams etc and see what percentage lowers PingPlotter the most. http://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/articles/16000074717-how-to-test-your-internet-ping
  7. Reboot the modem, wait 2 minutes, then reboot the R2, wait 2 minutes and you should get a connection
  8. Did you wait a few minutes after the reset before trying to access?
  9. Now that it is all upgraded I would suggest you do the factory reset from the interface, a lot has changed between versions and it prevents old low level code causing issues. Ideally if you could get her phone to connect to the R2 that would make the QoS more effective - you could disable the WiFi on the ISP router to prevent devices auto connecting to it.
  10. You may need to re-enable the VPN. Have you setup QoS or the Geo-Filter at all? If not you will need to do that to reduce your latency. Did you do the factory reset after the upgrade was successful? We don't do remote support that way for normal setup, only if there is an issue a dev has to look into. Also are ALL devices connected to the router?
  11. Both. Using a VPN does not decrease latency at all, if anything it would increase it. Woops my mistake, sorry! If you were connected to WiFi while doing the upgrade it would have disconnected you from the WiFi and you would have to reconnect. Reconnect then refresh the page and it should have completed.
  12. Once you've upgraded and factory reset and setup we can get your speed sorted, make sure to set your speeds in bandwidth settings in the Congestion Control panel. However, using the VPN and applying it to a whole device will drop the speeds to about 10Mbps which is still plenty for gaming.
  13. I think the next step should be upgrading to the latest firmware, you can download it from here: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/38047-new-r2-firmware-30394/ once downloaded click the 3 dots icon top left of the interface and upgrade from there. Once uploaded allow 5 minutes for it to upgrade, then access the interface and factory reset from the same 3 dots menu, wait 2 minutes, connect and complete the wizard. Then you're good to go, follow the tours that appear to setup and enjoy!
  14. You could try that yes, once you've taken the ISP router out of bridge mode, reboot it, wait 2 minutes, then reboot the R2, wait 2 minutes and then try accessing
  15. Hey, welcome to the forum! We need to update the configs we have on file so you'll need to obtain the config files from them directly and then set it up with the Advanced Setup on HybridVPN and then it should work
  16. Connect the PC via ethernet to one of the R2 LAN ports then try the interface again and see if you can complete it please
  17. Easiest way to check would be to see what you get placed on without the Geo-Filter enabled but yes I suspect West uses Seattle or LA and South Central would be Dallas.
  18. Hey, welcome to the forum! Remove the device from the Geo-Filter then go to the Device Manager and give the PC a PlayStation device type. Go back to the Geo-Filter, add the PC and choose the manual option, this will add it with the Games Console service and allow you to filter the game properly.
  19. Glad it's working now, it's quite a good firmware so should be more stable from now on, keep us posted!
  20. Thanks for the extra info - have you tried different web browsers and devices to see if any have access? Did you upgrade the R2 firmware at all? If so then to what version? If it's not accepting the default credentials it suggests it's not been reset properly or perhaps an incorrect firmware. Unplug the router from power for 10 minutes, plug in, wait 2 minutes then, hold reset for 30 seconds, release, wait 2 minutes and attempt access.
  21. Great to hear that, thanks for the update!
  22. Hey, welcome to the forum! When did this first start to occur? Does it work on another browser or device?
  23. Let us know if the newer version helps
  24. I think for the moment you'll have to leave it on the channel it is set on until the next version. How often is it disconnecting? Are all WiFi devices affected?
  25. Enable the Guest WiFi and use that instead, it should allow you to change channel also without error and we'll fix this issue for the next version
