Is it connecting you to other servers instead? If that is the case disable Fast Search and put Ping Assist to 0 then launch the game and you should get the Portland server.

I understand you're frustrated, we're troubleshooting and that means you give us information and using our expertise we surmise what could be the problem, this can go back and forth until we find the solution - if you're not happy with that then I'm not sure how we can help. If we ask or suggest something and you don't reply then we don't know whether you have tried it, people miss out steps all the time, especially as my post was fairly long. Do you have Armor enabled? Do you ever use WiFi on the console or is it always wired? What web browser/device do you normally use when changing settings on the interface? Do you make the port forwarding/traffic prio rules when you're already on the console/game? -

Your port forwarding issue lends itself more to what I mentioned the Traffic Prioritization issue could be in that it may no longer be going to the device you think the PS5 is. Ports conflicting was likely because UPnP is enabled and opened the port. We can look into the back up config issue. There should be a lot more packets prioritized than is seen there, please check the IPs on Device Manager and console match. -

Yes of course we liaise with them. We both have development goals we aim for but it’s always subject to change which is why neither company publicise these dates. -

That is entirely up to Netgear, should be a pretty easy one to fix as it's working on the backend as far as we can tell and is purely a frontend thing. -

Just to circle back a little: "forwarded ports disappear with time" - How long is it before these are disappearing exactly? If you have made it to a device and you then delete that device those rules will disappear as well. "restoring setting from the backup file does not work" - What settings are you hoping that are saved/restored but aren't? "when selected manually, traffic prioritization does nothing to TCP packets (only udp)" - So 1935 is for RTMP, if you're not chatting it's unlikely to be used much - it would also likely be using UDP for this, otherwise chat could seem laggy depending on the situation, 3478 is for NAT so won't be used too much after the initial check, 3479/3480 is for PlayStation network - depends how they're using it, if it's just to check you're online/to make sure you own the game this won't be used much either. 3074 will be the main port for gaming and for an FPS game that requires the most recent data all the time at a moments notice they will be using UDP. So in essence, TCP isn't really being prioritized because it's unlikely that it is being used much. If you look at port forwarding lists for games, UDP ports are listed more as well. "Upnp on off not visible (1.0.0.58 only)" - Yep that's a bug NG should have fixed. "This is a gaming router, ironically the basic gaming features don't work!!!" - Are you just referring to Traffic Prioritization or any other feature as well? As for why it doesn't appear to be prioritizing anything really at all I suspect either that you're playing over WiFi, in which case you'll need to make the rules use Gaming/Voice instead of Normal or that the device you think may be the PS5 isn't actually so you might be prioritizing the wrong device by mistake. Double check the IP on the PS5 itself, then double check the device you think it is on the Device Manager. -
That's totally fine, what you want to look out for on PingPlotter mainly is whether there are red bars indicating packet loss on the bottom graph but you don't have that so it's quite a stable connection actually
-
Can you provide a screenshot of the entire PingPlotter window when you're seeing this please? - Include the bottom graph as well
-
The Benchmark test uses the Google server to test the Ping and Packet Loss so it could just be your connection to that server. As above what modem/router are you using? I'm assuming you can have that handle PPPoE or put it in bridge mode? You may not necessarily get packet loss in game if it's just to the Google server

We weren't able to add it in time but in the mean time you can see where the servers are located here:

Welcome R2 owners! We want your feedback!
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Netduma R2 Support
I would've suggested my monitor but it wouldn't be suitable as to play 120Hz on PS5 you have to get a monitor with HDMI 2.1 so keep that in mind when looking. If you get one with only 2.0 you won't be able to play at that rate.

Intente reiniciar usando el método anterior para obtener acceso, si logra obtener acceso, verifique mi mensaje privado

R2 loses all connection periodically, requires unplug
Netduma Fraser replied to The0dark0one's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Thanks for the info, I've sent you a PM -
Glad to hear it is working now! We will have a new firmware available very soon which will be more stable
-

Set a static IP on the PC itself that is connected via ethernet to the router using this information and this guide (control panel) https://pureinfotech.com/set-static-ip-address-windows-10/ IP 192.168.77.100 Subnet 255.255.255.0 Gateway 192.168.77.1 DNS 192.168.77.1 then see if you can access using http://192.168.77.1
-
Great thank you, don't forget to try the reset as I mentioned as well as that could resolve it.
-
Yes they're all newer options on the latest version, perhaps old cache kept you from seeing them
-
Okay good so all working now? Do you mean new options compared to the old version?
-
Ethernet cable from the LAN or internet port on the R2 to the PC? Should just be able to access it when connected via ethernet or WiFi.
-
You don't need to be, but you're installing a tunnel essentially which can bypass the router so the router can't tell you're on the local network. You can do it without internet through the IP address

cold war season 6 lag & cheaters
Netduma Fraser replied to Jackal235's topic in Call of Duty Support
Its actually more likely to happen when there are a lot of players as the servers get overwhelmed, given the new season that does make sense. Regarding potential cheaters or playing cross play that's not something we can help with. If you're seeing a low ping on the Geo-Filter but the in game ping is over 30 ms higher then indicates it is under load and you may have a better experience forcing a different server. -

Great thanks for that, I can't see anything there at first glance but I'm not a dev so I'll pass it on and see what they say
