  1. No not every time, if you just leave the Geo-Filter settings alone after the first time you do it then you can just start the game when you want to play and it will filter correctly each time. They're also good steps to follow if you have any issues filtering. You're welcome! It could be that, it could also be you're experiencing local congestion, in which case QoS may help. Where abouts are you located?
  2. Hey, welcome to the forum! For Heatmap we did put out an update so press the icon and resync cloud, then re-ping the game and the servers should show. For the Geo-Filter that polygon is fine but filtering mode is disabled, do this instead: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager (if on PC) Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client
  3. The .2 - .99 is for reserving IP addresses to make sure devices are getting IP addresses outside of the DHCP range, that is the important part. If a device has an IP within the range and it renews, which it would after a week then it could disconnect. If it has an IP outside the range it can't renew and so in theory a disconnect should not happen.
  4. Debería ser mucho mejor para la próxima versión, que no debería estar muy lejos.
  5. I'd suggest enabling share excess and resetting Bandwidth Allocation, in regards to Traffic Controller I don't personally think that is needed - you have NAT set to Open so the game should be able to communicate over the necessary ports without the controller rule. I would suggest using the WAN option, if your ISP supports priority tags it will be beneficial, if it doesn't then there is no harm having it enabled.
  6. Put the upload percentage a lot lower, some people feel that heavily throttling this gives them a better experience. Also try making a manual rule for the PC and add it as a Games Console and see if you notice any difference there.
  7. Totally understand, if you do get it reactivated again, could you perform a reboot, then while it seems to be smooth take a screenshot of the System Information page, then once it is sluggish again can you take another screenshot of that page and provide them both here please? That would allow us to see if memory is running out or if the CPU usage is running higher than it should.
  8. Thank you for the information. So a couple of things, gaming really doesn't need that much bandwidth, the maximum it would use would be around 1Mbps and that would be when you're hosting, if you're not hosting it will be a lot less. If you specifically got these speeds for gaming then it is overkill as 99% will go unused when playing. Therefore the QoS settings that have been made to allocate more bandwidth to the PC is unnecessary. Also given your high speeds, QoS is less needed as you are unlikely to experience bufferbloat (which happens when the entire connection is being used) so you're sort of applying rules to the connection when it isn't needed, this could be why it's better off vs on. If you do have QoS on the ISP modem/router (if it's not a pure modem) then that could be another reason having QoS on the XR as well wouldn't give a good in game feeling. What is the modem/router the XR is connected to? That being said, your upload speed in comparison to download is much lower, so you could try with Congestion Control set to 100% for download, 70% for upload and see if it makes a difference. With the manual Traffic Prioritization setting that has been added, do you ever see the packets update for it when playing? If not that could be another reason you're not noticing an improvement.
  9. Hey, welcome to the forum! A few quick questions before we get into it: Is this PC the only device being used in your home? If not, is it the only device being used actually when playing? Under what circumstances was the PingPlotter test done? E.g. WiFi, ethernet, nothing using the internet, QoS on/off
  10. It's likely PPPoE, can the ISP modem/router handle this instead of the XR? If so does QoS then work correctly?
  11. You will need to set Congestion Control to Always and then set a percentage, run the test, set a percentage, run the test etc until you find what brings it down as much as possible
  12. Could you provide a screenshot of your Geo-Filter please? If you disable the device on the Geo-Filter so it's not filtering but you can still see the servers, what do you ping to the Texas server when you get it?
  13. We will have access to the logs until the point at which it goes down so you wouldn't need for us to wait to remote in before getting the internet back up and running. Without doing this we can't properly identify the issue, I do realize it's frustrating, if you don't want to do it I completely understand but it should be enough for us to work on a fix.
  14. If you're having trouble make a new topic and provide the config files you can't get to work and we can take a look
  15. Okay no worries, thanks for the information, I think it would probably be good to enable remote logging, then apply the 'fix' and see what we get back from that so we can further look into it. Re-enable remote support and we can do that on Monday.
  16. Likely just a reboot would have been needed to get the internet back and then see if the fix makes a difference, the reset would have wiped that, do let us know if you want us to apply it again on Monday, so you can then reboot and test. It has seemed to fix the issue for someone else.
  17. No worries, if you enable remote support in Settings I'll get the team to connect and make the changes!
  22. Hey, welcome to the forum! It doesn't quite work that way. The static IP you have paid for is your public IP address, any device you connect to your network will appear to have this IP address from outside your network. Local IP addresses are different, they are what the router give to devices so they can tell them apart and determine where to send traffic etc. So your public IP will never change now. You can give your PC a static local IP address and that will help if you make any port forwarding rules etc, you can do this by going to LAN Settings, then giving it a reservation (you can enter the IP it already has from the router - you can see this on the device manager). Then your port forwarding rules will always be valid as the PC local IP will not change.
  23. It's a small beta testing run at the moment, we may do a wider beta but likely we'll release it fully sooner rather than later
  24. Ahh well done for figuring it out and thanks for posting the solution!
  25. This is something we've seen a few times recently, our conclusion is that some of the servers on the West Coast are no longer used or used during peak times/busy periods as with or without it seems to default towards the East unfortunately
