Great thank you, did whitelisting allow it to work correctly? -
Thanks for letting us know, we'll check the remote logs and see if we can spot the issue.

netduma r2 Ping Spikes in Warzone with Congestion Control Setup
Netduma Fraser replied to BrownStar's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Thank you for the detailed information, usually if the spikes aren't shown on the Geo-Filter but they are in game then it indicates something server side but as you're not getting it direct to the modem it would suggest otherwise. Do let us know the results of your new tests, in the meantime I've sent you a PM so please try that as well.- 38 replies

netduma r2 Ping Spikes in Warzone with Congestion Control Setup
Netduma Fraser replied to BrownStar's topic in Netduma R2 Support
To identify where the issue may lie more, can you enable the Geo-Filter and ping the server there, then when you notice the ping spike in game look at the Geo-Filter, does the ping spike there as well?- 38 replies

netduma r2 Ping Spikes in Warzone with Congestion Control Setup
Netduma Fraser replied to BrownStar's topic in Netduma R2 Support
You need to enter the speeds you expect in Bandwidth settings otherwise QoS will not be as effective, then you can set it to Always and experiment with percentages to see what brings Ping Under Load closer to the Ping Test. Is there any reason you're not using the Geo-Filter? It's a big feature to help you get the lowest ping possible. I would also revert the DNS back, altering DNS is unlikely to have any positive effect.- 38 replies

It would be tomorrow now so quite possibly when you're asleep, you don't need to be around for us to do so as long as remote support is enabled prior to that. We can do that yes.

We believe we have fixed this issue in the next firmware but for the moment set the DHCP range to start at .50, then assign reserved IP addresses to devices between .2 & .49 so they're out of the DHCP range, apply, reboot from the interface, wait 2 minutes and see if that stops the disconnects.
-
Click reset at the bottom there
-
Reset bandwidth allocation, gaming uses less than 1Mbps in most cases so 90% is unneeded, then drop 10% on CC retest, see what the ping is like, you want to get it as close to the Ping Test results as possible. So change percentage, test, change, test etc

It has been awhile since new firmware has been available, shouldn't be much longer before another version is released. Apart from the UPnP issue which is more visual there hasn't been many recurring themes from what I can see. If you're having an issue please make a topic and we'll be happy to help.

Can you provide a screenshot of the QoS page as you have it set currently please?
-
Okay might be fixed in a non released version then as I know it has been fixed, in the meantime I would advise you look up the channel/WiFi requirements for the US and choose a region that has those same requirements
-
What firmware version are you on currently? I believe this was fixed in the latest .394
-
Can you provide a screenshot of a completed Benchmark test please and a screenshot of the QoS page as you have it set currently
-
That is all that is needed thank you, Liam will have to connect on Tuesday now, no need to do anything on your side or be by the router

Error on WIFI channel and WIFI suddenly stop working.
Netduma Fraser replied to thewilloxdiaz's topic in Netduma R1 Support
Now you have access again, try this again: While connected via ethernet, disable WiFi entirely, reboot the router from the interface, wait 2 minutes, access, enable WiFi, change the channel, apply, reboot from the interface, wait 2 minutes then see if it's more stable from then on. Also, set reserved IPs for all devices between .2 - .99 and then reboot from the interface and wait 2 minutes -
ANNOUNCEMENT: DUMAOS 3.0 IS HERE
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Luke's topic in News & Announcements
If you're trying to do solo games in Destiny then it won't work and that isn't the purpose of the Geo-Filter. Battlefield it somewhat works but due to their matchmaking design the Geo-Filter doesn't historically work well with many of the BF games. We haven't specifically tested Warframe so I couldn't comment on that one. Can you provide a screenshot of your Geo-Filter page please? -

Ping Heatmap suggestion/issue thread
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Netduma R2 Support
No there isn't, they have actively put measures in place to counteract Geo-Filtering - more so people exploiting the way to do this with the game files and we're a byproduct of those measures as well. -
QOS Help! - Adequate distribution
Netduma Fraser replied to Guilherme Poersch's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Great to hear that! So Traffic Prioritization supersedes Congestion Control/Bandwidth Allocation so if you've made a custom rule that includes the ports they use for the speed test (which it sounds like you may have done) then that is why it seemingly won't adhere to the percentage set. By default the console/game will be prioritized by DumaOS Classified Games so you could just enable that or add with the console service or add ports if you want but not using port 80/443. Then allocation will work as well! -
QOS Help! - Adequate distribution

Thanks for the information, the only other thing that could be affecting it would be if you've made a custom Traffic Prioritization rule for the console, have you done that?
