Could you provide a screenshot for the Congestion Control part of the QoS page as well please? You don't have Filtering Mode enabled for the device, have you tried it with Filtering Mode previously to see if it works?
-
Interesting, could you disable the protection options in WAN Settings, if that doesn't work please reserve IPs for the devices in DHCP settings then do a reboot and see if they continue to work please.
-
Could you provide a screenshot of your Geo-Filter page please? Preferably showing when you're getting one of those higher ping servers and a lower ping server please.

Connection dropping every 15-30 mins

Brilliant to see that, so your speeds are higher than you pay for by the looks of it, I remember having those speeds on VM - 500/35 and they do give you higher for some reason! Keep us posted! -

Okay great, please now see if the disconnects stop at all. In the mean time, on the R2, on the Settings page > WAN, disable the protection options then please do speedtest.net from a wired PC and provide a screenshot of the result. -
Just to clarify, the ping doesn't change but the feeling in game does change, then you restart the router, the ping is the same but the feeling is better?

It won't show the name in the reserved rule section but it will show the MAC address of the device. Copy the WAN IP on the System Information page of the R2 and then put it in the DMZ on the V Hub. You haven't set your expected speeds so please do that in the menu for Congestion Control and set bandwidth speeds. On the Device Manager Network Map panel, click the icon and change to table view then take a screenshot please. -
Are you changing Geo-Filter settings as you're on the game or when you come back by any chance?
-
Given it is working for some websites/services I suspect that others have blocked the VPN IPs and that is why you cannot access the services. Use another server and you'll have a new IP and that may work, otherwise it might be best to try another provider.

Could you provide the full page screenshot uncropped please? Can you also provide a screenshot of the Device Manager in the table view (uncropped) please? What do you mean the R2 has disappeared? It may just appear in the reserved rule table instead of attached devices now -
Could you disable Adblocker please and see if the other sites load? That's the only thing that could be blocking website specifically
-
Okay interesting, on the VPN Setup panel click the icon and you should see options for DNS, for IPv4, enter your VPN DNS in there: 162.252.172.57 149.154.159.92 then apply, and see whether everything then works please.

Thanks for that, so just to clarify, you can check online that your IP address has changed, so Google/IP check website works but no other sites?

When the disconnect happens can you click the icon on the log panel on the System Information page, download the logs and upload the file here please? Can you provide a screenshot of your QoS page please? It's very simple to do on the V Hub and this will get you sorted: Access the V Hub interface Go to Advanced Settings > DHCP In the Attached Devices list find the R2 and click on it Scroll down and under Add reserved rule information for the R2 will have been input then click add rule It will then apply and will tell you your settings have been updated Look at the Attached Devices list on the page again, find the R2 and make a note of the IP address it has Go to Advanced Settings > Security > DMZ, enable it and enter the IP, then apply -
Can you provide a screenshot of the VPN page please with how you have it set when they don't have internet?
-
No internet on all devices or just that device? Do you get internet back if you disable the VPN?

Welcome to the forum! Has the time between disconnects improved after implementing these settings? What firmware version are you currently on? Do you still have access to the interface when the connection drops? I have VM and I find the modem mode to be a bit hit or miss so I would recommend putting that in router mode, then giving the R2 a static IP on the VM hub and putting it in the VM DMZ. -
Doesn't work in what way, doesn't change your IP? How have you added your device to the VPN?
-
I think in this situation it's the case of trying quite a few resets until it does come back, we have seen it a few times where it works, unfortunately there isn't really anything else troubleshooting wise that we can suggest. Could you try it 5 times in the same way as you have been doing and let us know if it worked and we can go from there?
-
Try this instead please and see if it works : [Interface] Address= 10.14.0.2 PrivateKey= replace with your key ListenPort =51820 dns = 162.252.172.57,149.154.159.92 [Peer] PublicKey= replace with your key AllowedIPs =0.0.0.0/0 Endpoint = it-rom.prod.surfshark.com:51820

So I've spoken to the dev and they believe they know what the issue is and think they have a solution for it which will be included in the next app update. In the mean time you could use the mobile view on your phone web browser and you'll still be able to use the functions you would have used in the app.
-
Please provide a screenshot of the QoS page with how you usually have it set and the Geo-Filter page
-
We're still improving upon that feature so it might be that your connection is a lot better now hence the results or it may be best to set values manually based on what you find performs the best

What part of North America is the server? By physical setup I mean what is the model of your ISP modem/router, is it the XR1000 you have connected to it, are ALL devices connected to the XR or are some connected to the ISP modem etc? Given your location and the position of servers in relation to you it is highly unlikely you'll get very low pings but depending on the answers to the questions it may be able to be reduced.
