  1. It really depends on what the usual network activity is when you're gaming, if it's streaming etc you're probably fine without but if anyone downloads while you're playing I would suggest keeping it on
  2. How are you rebooting exactly? What changes after a reboot? We're happy to help if you wish to troubleshoot but understand if you don't, the next firmware isn't far off now so may be worth a try when that is available.
  3. CC/Benchmark advice above is a good place to start. Are ALL devices connected to the XR router? Try forcing slightly further away servers even if your ping is a little higher as they may actually play better for you
  4. If you're not able to connect to the internet or the interface via those methods then they won't be active and won't be causing any problems, likely in one of the recent updates it was missed by mistake
  5. So you deleted all the other port rules you made and just tried to add the one? In WAN Settings try setting NAT to Open and see if that improves your NAT status
  6. Hello, welcome to the forum! Could you provide a screenshot of a completed Connection Benchmark test please? Could you also provide a screenshot of the QoS & Geo-Filter settings you normally use? What is the model of the modem/router the XR is connected to and are ALL devices connected to the XR?
  7. Hello, welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear you're having this issue, how are you determining the factory reset isn't working exactly? While connected to the router via a Windows PC, open command prompt, type ipconfig press enter and then post a screenshot of the results here please. You can use ifconfig on a MAC.
  8. Of course, all you need to do is sign up here: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/39415-introducing-early-access/
  9. As above, that is the most likely cause, it's also not a good idea to port forward every port to a singular device
  10. From what I can see there are just 1 or 2 issues from the latest build we're investigating so it really shouldn't be long at all now
  11. Either one will work, it's entirely up to you!
  12. Hey, welcome to the forum! It'll be hard to diagnose this I think without you being around when it happens - for example is the interface still accessible when it happens? Are ALL devices unable to get internet when this happens or is it just the work at home device? Try disabling the Work from Home Traffic Prioritization option and see if that helps at all.
  13. Could you give us an insight into the settings you're using currently, then we can nudge you in the right direction. You could also have a look at our optimal settings guides which will help: https://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/folders/16000090646
  14. I'm going to try and get someone to update it today but also keep an eye on the download site for the XR1000 https://www.netgear.com/support/product/xr1000#download
  15. So the traffic type is based on how you're connected, if you're using ethernet/wired connection for the console then select Normal. If you're using WiFi use Gaming/Voice. You can enable Apply to WAN as if your ISP supports priority tags then you'll see an extra benefit but if they don't you won't see a negative impact having it enabled.
  16. Would definitely recommend utilizing it for Upload at the very least as the speeds are low but if you're a frequent downloaded then utilize it for Download as well
  17. Ping Heatmap shows servers that we were able to detect at the time of testing, they change servers quite frequently so it may not always show every server. The Geo-Filter shows any connection at that time which is why you can connect to it.
  18. You've already been approved, you can find it here: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/144-netduma-r2-early-access/
  19. As above we do use mlabs, people do seem to get slower speeds to them, possibly due to the routing to those servers or depending on the server it connects you to. Use the sites you know you get accurate results from and use those values
  20. We don't have them in the UK but I know what you mean regarding their "speedtest". The speeds for you aren't varying by much and you have a lot to play with anyway so you could go 950 down, 24 up to split the difference.
