Have you entered your expected speeds in Bandwidth settings? Could you switch the cable connecting the R2 to the Sky hub and see if it you get betters speeds then please?

NEW XR700 BETA FIRMWARE: 3.3.363
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Lew's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Yes the same thing but if it doesn't work then disable DHCP entirely so it just relies on the reservation - that should work on the beta also - we haven't changed any Netgear settings. That's up to Netgear really but I think we'd be keen to. -
Found mislocated servers? Let us know here!
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Call of Duty Support
As far as I am aware Alex didn't push an update for this yet so it must be the game behaving strangely, I will tell him again though to get it updated. Sólo soy el mensajero, se lo menciono todo el tiempo, él está muy ocupado en este momento. Se acercan plazos que deberían transcurrir en breve y entonces tendrá más tiempo. -
Can't Login to the Router (Nighthawk XR1000)

Does your web browser automatically clear cache/cookies when closing a tab or do you have it saved on autofill where it may be trying to enter it automatically? -
NEW XR700 BETA FIRMWARE: 3.3.363
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Lew's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
That is very strange but glad to hear it is working now! If it is the DHCP issue though I would expect it to return though not everyone seems to experience it, do keep an eye on it. -
I'm not reaching my contracted speed on netduma R2
Netduma Fraser replied to jrfamilia's topic in Netduma R2 Support
That's good progress, are ALL devices connected to the R2 or do you still have some connected to the ISP modem/router? If you disable QoS fully from the Congestion Control menu do the speeds increase? -
We never give out ETAs for firmware, we haven't done that for years as it's always subject to change, as it would have done in this case when we found issues that needed to be fixed. We are working on it, the team are working super hard at the moment, a lot of deadlines we're working towards.

Hybrid VPN XR500
Netduma Fraser replied to LordRenen's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
That'll be up to Netgear but it's something we would like to include. That's the beauty of HybridVPN, you don't need to apply it to your whole device (unless you're on console) so the rest of your device can go through your normal connection. -
Gracias por hacérnoslo saber, lo pasaré. No podría decir cuándo se solucionará esto, ya que no es algo que le suceda a mucha gente, pero haremos lo mejor que podamos.

I'll get on to Alex to make sure he is aware so he can get it supported.

Please add this game to the heat map
Netduma Fraser replied to TheA.k's topic in Feature Ideas & Improvements for DumaOS
Hey, welcome to the forum! Thanks for the suggestion, I'll add it to the list for it to be potentially added. -
Great advice above, if you did want to do that you could use the XR1000 as an AP for WiFi but you would lose the features and wouldn't get those higher speeds.

Hybrid VPN XR500
Netduma Fraser replied to LordRenen's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
You'll need to use the Advanced Setup with the configuration file from your OpenVPN provider for the moment and then it'll work. We need to update the list. -
Does that include Unknown on live data that has been fixed?
-
Did you do a factory reset after upgrading at all?
-
No creo que estuviéramos al tanto de ese problema. Si desactivas QoS por completo, ¿funciona?
-
Yeah I was going to say, looks like it is restricting the speeds as expected there! What are you trying to prioritize exactly?

I'm not reaching my contracted speed on netduma R2
Netduma Fraser replied to jrfamilia's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Hello, welcome to the forum! I would recommend using the ISP modem/router in router mode with the R2 in the DMZ of the ISP router instead of having the R2 handling PPPoE. Then make sure you enter the correct speeds in Bandwidth Settings in the Congestion Control menu ( ) on the QoS page. Also if you're checking on Connection Benchmark, check on speedtest.net, what do you get there? -
Esta aquí: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/51611-new-xr500-beta-firmware-33535/ ¿A qué te refieres con el problema de SSH?
-
I think that's probably normal as it's cached the old IP and then when it checks again it'll show correctly. I'll double check though.

Can't Login to the Router (Nighthawk XR1000)
Netduma Fraser replied to Chf Wiggum's topic in Community Discussion
Are you unplugging the router from power frequently by any chance? If you put the serial number in can you then change the password? -

NEW XR700 BETA FIRMWARE: 3.3.363
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Lew's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
No not specifically, it's most likely the DHCP issue though, do this: In LAN Settings, set the DHCP range to start at .50, then assign reserved IP addresses to devices between .2 & .49 so they're out of the DHCP range, apply, reboot from the interface, wait 2 minutes and see if that stops the disconnects. I don't know what the plans are specifically regarding what NG want to do as it is not made anymore they may not wish to put in further resources.
