  1. To answer your questions: Ping Heatmap was added after the Geo-Filter, however we are planning on merging them in future. You click the dropdown list then you can ping your list or edit it by clicking the pencil icon next to it. Try this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager (if on PC) Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works better. I would also say don't expect Ping Assist to be a hard limit - it is an assist not a limit so you can get servers with slightly higher ping sometimes. Better to use heatmap, locate the low ping servers then force them with your radius. You have Connection Benchmark on the router which will be a better test of bufferbloat as it runs on the router level, what result do you get for Ping Under Load?
  2. That will be a server we have whitelisted then as you're unable to deny it. Zoom in all the way and it should be a little easier to click on the specific symbol
  3. Yeah either you or they disconnect from the party, turn off auto ping, reconnect, ping, allow and then you're good to go.
  4. Yep that'll be it!
  5. I could only tell it was discord by converting the ID into an IP and looking it up. Yes that's correct, though if you've allowed them/the servers responsible for friends it would be best to launch the game with filtering enabled.
  6. If it's an authentication server we haven't identified then it wouldn't appear with the white circle around it. You don't need to disable filtering mode, launch the game then check for anything that is blocked, allow if needed then you can try again.
  7. The 19ms ping one appears to be a server for the game so for handling friends or a discord server, does that make sense in this scenario? If you're getting a server like the ping assisted one that appears where it shouldn't it's best to ping it and see if it's as expected for your PA setting, if so then it is misclassified on the map. If you give us the ID for it we can then correct the location. Did you wait 2 minutes after connection to your friends before searching for a game? If you did add what appears to be the friends servers to the allow list. Restart the game with filtering enabled, invite them in, allow anything that is blocked if needed then search.
  8. We're working on Smart QoS which is a more intelligent form of QoS that prioritizes based on need
  9. Could be ISP congestion, evening and morning time when more people are home there is more likely to be congestion. Keep an eye on it though. Try a few more tests up until 5pm so if you get consistent high speeds, then yesterday it dropped at 6pm so then try another test around then.
  10. Have you entered your expected speeds in Bandwidth settings? Could you provide a screenshot of your QoS page please?
  11. That is very strange, if you disable Game Optimiser and then do a speedtest.net test what results do you get for the upload ping?
  12. You can do that, see if the TP has a modem or bridge mode, if so set to that, otherwise you'd have to copy the WAN IP from the R2 System information page and enter that into the TP DMZ. Then disable the TP WiFi.
  13. You could have a look at Ping Heatmap for the IP address but I doubt it will reveal much. As you're connected to a server it's your ping to that server that counts. You can't control who connects to the servers and the games will connect anyone it wants to that server.
  14. Well done on getting it sorted @jodafi and thanks for providing the solution!
  15. It doesn't appear you've persisted in troubleshooting with us, I would recommend doing that, could you provide a screenshot of a completed Connection Benchmark test as well as your QoS page please? We cannot offer support for installing a different operating system.
  16. Try a different wireless device, do you get the expected speeds then? How about with an ethernet connected device, do you get expected speeds?
  17. The 3.3 update isn't far now and then it'll be more in line with the other routers
  18. Do you mean does Connection Benchmark reflect the Congestion Control percentages on QoS? No it shouldn't reflect that.
  19. Elimine la DMZ en el R2 y luego pruebe las velocidades, por favor.
  20. As above, manually enter the speeds you expect/pay for and you'll be good, you can ignore any lower speed tests then as long as you're getting expected speeds on speedtest.net for example.
  21. As in it only filters games with crossplay enabled?
  22. What is the WAN IP shown on the System Information page? Could you provide a screenshot of the ISP modem DMZ section when it says it doesn't recognize it please?
  23. Hello, that's not a double NAT, it's going through the XR, then through the modem, as long as you have the bridge mode enabled you're all good, you'll have an Open NAT.
  24. It does have Wireguard support, make sure you're on the latest firmware
  25. Ah that's annoying, Fortnite does the same, I'm not sure if it will apply here but this is what we suggest in that case, disable filtering mode but still use it to find out what server you're on, if it's too far away then you could quit and re-search until you find the server you want. This could be quicker than letting the game kick you.
