  1. I can confirm it's the same email you use for your forum account. I've re-sent the order notification so you may see it now - may still go to spam
  2. I'll add it to the suggestion list!
  3. I'll have to ask the team on that one and get back to you.
  4. It's connected via ethernet by the looks of it so it doesn't have anything to show for WiFi details
  5. Hello, welcome to the forum! To answer your questions: There is no guarantee you'll get 'X' ping. If you're experiencing local congestion or connecting to further away servers then yes your ping will likely decrease using the router. They're probably using a VPN to force a specific country but no we don't circumvent SBMM, it's unlikely forcing close servers will allow that to happen Matchmaking can take a little longer in some cases, it depends how many servers you have covered. If you're trying to force one specific server then it may take a little longer if the game is trying to force you elsewhere. We can't compare it to another router in that way as it depends on many factors but we have been doing a lot of testing and improvements to WiFi so it should be very good.
  6. A long time, we're still supporting the R2 3 years later for example From the beginning no I doubt it, translation is actually quite an expensive process, that's why it's available on the XR range and not our own. I have requested it so if possible we'll do it. We don't have that option at the moment as the whole point of the router is to be able to use the features but as we have multiple routers now we may do in future.
  7. I think the web browser on the console is based on an older browser version so it won't be very optimized. Do you still have to do weird workarounds just to make the browser available? If so that kind of tells you they didn't make the browser with the idea it would be used a lot
  8. Ahh interesting okay, I've not seen this log entry before but to me it seems like the WiFi driver has probably failed. I'll pass it on to a dev to double check and see if there is anything we can do and I'll get back to you probably Monday/Tuesday if that's alright.
  9. We use https://speed.measurementlab.net/#/ for the speed test aspect
  10. What I mean is, we (Netduma) have not coded anything on the Settings side of things, it's all done by Netgear so it would have to be them that fix it, I haven't seen the issue occur too much so I suspect it's something they have been unable to reproduce but if you contact them directly they may have a solution in the meantime.
  11. Disable Smart Connect and connect them to 2.4GHz, a lot of smart devices do not get on well with the automatic band switching used when Smart Connect is enabled. You would still get that disconnect issue if it's DHCP on the previous firmware, the workaround is the only solution unfortunately.
  12. We do ship worldwide but we're based in the UK! We are aiming for Christmas delivery if all goes to plan.
  13. It's up to you, you could keep the 4Gbps internet and if the ISP modem/router supports those speeds which I'm sure it does you could use that whenever you wanted to download a game for example and use the R3 for all other purposes
  14. Unfortunately I think that's a Netgear issue as we don't have any input on the device settings such as WiFi, I would suggest if you're able to, to contact Netgear support and see if they have any suggestions.
  15. When that happens look at the map do you see a blocked icon? If so ping it and provide us with the ID please
  16. Try the below please and see if that gets it working
  17. You wouldn't be able to use your max speeds, the ports on the R3 are 1Gbps ports
  18. On your web browser, you'll have the option to launch an incognito window
  19. Did you perform this step at all?
  20. Yes it should be filled in, could you provide the log from the System Information page please - one without doing anything and then getting the log after changing a WiFi setting please.
  21. Totally understand your concern, especially with the launch of the R2 being a little shaky. Obviously we haven't had it tested with 100's/1000's of users in different countries with different setups and internet connections so we can't guarantee there won't be issues but what I can say is that we've taken what we've learnt from the R2 and implemented that. Really focused on WiFi from the get go, ensured with the design that it won't overheat, implemented a system that will allow a user to more easily recover the router should it ever approach a brick type situation etc. The backend is much cleaner and more efficient, we can iterate a lot easier. In my opinion it doesn't even come close the the R1 or R2! Of course once it launches we'll be closely monitoring feedback and issues and fixing things as fast as possible if needed.
  22. I highly doubt that's possible for us to do, the game uses servers to connect players to each other, we can't determine the players you're against so couldn't check to see what platform they're using either
  23. That is the QoS page, experiment with the percentages to get the best results, 70% doesn't work for everyone. Traffic Prioritization can also interfere with the tests so disable that while trying.
  24. Added, you can find it here: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/144-netduma-r2-early-access/ Once the upgrade has been completed would recommend a factory reset as it's quite a change from your current version. Let us know how you get on!
  25. I'll pass it on to Alex so he can retest the game and get it added
