  1. We've never announced an R3 to be in the works
  2. That will just log you out of the interface and then it will prompt you to login again so it'll still be on the screen until you close the tab like any website
  3. If you click okay can you use the Geo-Filter as normal or does it reappear when you click something or change a setting? When did it start occurring exactly, after deleting a device from the Device Manager for example?
  4. It's not available for the XR500 just for the R2 currently while we work on the feature
  5. The config gets wiped after disabling, it's something we're working on fixing
  6. The firmware is coming, I promise!
  7. If you put the R2 WAN IP (found on the System Information page) into the DMZ on the ISP modem/router then you won't.
  8. Yes it will work properly without it using PPPoE now and keep DHCP enabled on the R2 otherwise your devices won't connect to the router
  9. QoS enabled means DPI is enabled which means it's analyzing packets which is why the speed is taking a slight hit but if you set Congestion Control to Always/Auto-Enable at 70/70 that will reduce the bufferbloat. In regards to the Twitch test, you don't need all those options to be 100, they're a list of servers you can stream to so pick the one with the highest quality/lowest RTT and use that and you'll be good.
  10. Ignore the benchmark speed test, it uses different servers so it's not always accurate, input the speeds you get from speedtest.net. We usually recommend 70/70 as a starting point and tweaking from there if needed/you feel you can get a better experience. You can reset Bandwidth Allocation, you don't need to adjust that.
  11. Fair enough, if that's what works for you, as you've seen you will have much longer search times
  12. Yes that's correct. Any devices you would want to connect after that you would need to set a static IP on the device first so it can connect, then you can give it a reservation on the router.
  13. You don't need to do multiple prioritizations of the same device, the Games Console service for the Xbox will be more than sufficient. You don't need to use Bandwidth Allocation but I would suggest using Congestion Control as it prevents other devices causing you to lag so everything can use the internet as they normally would and not impact each other. This is particularly important for you streaming to Twitch which requires a constant steady bitrate, one person starts to download and your stream will really suffer. You can delete offline devices from the Device Manager menu and that will help clear up those unnamed devices.
  14. It uses different servers so you can ignore that speed test - it's not limiting you. Yes we will be fixing it.
  15. Brilliant to hear that! I would suggest now using Congestion Control so that when you're gaming and streaming at the same time that streaming doesn't cause your game to lag
  16. What do you mean blocked exactly? Are you adding lots of servers to your deny list?
  17. Thanks for letting us know. No not necessarily, you're adding extra latency. It does support Wireguard but I believe Nord use a proprietary version and don't give out the config files so you could connect with the router.
  18. I think that's just down to what I mentioned before that they're not always available. We don't have any kind of special relationship with Activision so actually I think you're route of talking to the streamers is the best idea as they do usually have some sort of relationship with the company/may have a rep they can talk to.
  19. That just disables the Congestion Control aspect of QoS, not QoS as a whole which you can do from the Congestion Control menu Yes I suspect so as it will be prioritizing the game over your Twitch stream, flip the toggle for DumaOS Classified Games to disable it then do the test again
  20. We gave ETAs years ago and it always backfired, precisely because of the above is the only reason we were able to get the beta versions out for the 500/700 and as of a few minutes ago the 450 as well, they've not been through Netgear testing.
  21. Ping Under Load at that rating would indicate that QoS needs to be fine tuned some more. It's best to start with a high value for Congestion Control, say 95% then do a test, decrease by 10%, test, decrease by 10% etc, until you get to a value that is pretty good and then try 5% either side of that value to see if it can be improved. It's important to note that Download & Upload on Congestion Control don't have to be the same value and that you may have a better experience with differing values.
  22. That's an old picture based on launch, best to use Ping Heatmap which will be more current though it may need an update which I have requested.
  23. So you're using Ping Assist set to 25ms is that right? The way Ping Assist works is it takes the first ping response from a server and determines if it should be allowed or blocked so you could have a server that is allowed that ping at or under your limit 25ms in this case but then subsequent pings are higher. Likewise you could have it the other way where you miss out on a server as the first ping is higher than your limit but then settles below it but it would already be blocked. So if you want to be certain you get the server you want it's best to set Ping Assist to 0 and exclusively use the radius/polygon mode covering the server.
  24. Have you specifically completely disabled QoS? As if not it can still be affecting you, specifically Traffic Prioritization which I would think is probably the problem here
  25. You can't block it as it's a server we have whitelisted, it's an authentication server required for online play, if you were able to block it you wouldn't be able to get into a game at all. It does not affect your game ping at all so you can ignore it.
