What is the model of the Google router/modem? Better to continue here rather than DMs. Is it a pure modem i.e. no WiFi?

That was a XR series bug to related to the Netgear developed settings so isn't applicable here. I've not encountered anything like that so far

It was removed due to an issue but will make it back in the next version. Nothing specifically you need to do QoS related for the PS, DumaOS Classified Games is enabled by default and will prioritize any games you're playing on the console. Make sure you're using Congestion Control either Always or Auto Enable with a value less than 100% (we usually suggest 70% as a starting point) and you're good to go.

If you're using 3rd party tests they can be impacted by Traffic Prioritization which is why it may not appear as good. We have done work though to improve the tests and overall QoS will be better.

We use https://speed.measurementlab.net/#/ for the speed part of the test, if you go to that website and do a test does it complete successfully?

If all goes to plan you should have it by Xmas. That's understandable, from a pure software standpoint, it's unlikely the XR700 will receive any more major updates (e.g. new features) and going on from that the R3 will have DumaOS 4 which has new features like Anti-Jitter and QoS updates that will work wonders for larger households (more on that later). More frequent updates and new features coming. Obviously the hardware on the XR700 is still a beast even compared to the R3 but does it have RGB? 😄

Yes the XR500 does have an AP mode so you could use that with the R3

That is very strange, are you accessing the router using a bookmark? Copy the WAN IP from the R2 System Information page, enter that in your ISP modem/router DMZ and then on the R2 WAN Settings enable remote support then post back here from a device connected to the R2 and we can attempt to force an upgrade through tomorrow.

Yeah the results are generally good, for Traffic Prioritization remove the Games Console rule but keep DumaOS Classified Games enabled and see whether that improves it for them

It should be fine, we haven't specifically tested the R3 with any mesh systems I don't think but in theory there wouldn't be a problem

Traffic Prioritization is at the bottom of the QoS page. Could you provide a screenshot of a completed Connection Benchmark test please?

You can reset Bandwidth Allocation, it's not necessary. ALL devices should be connected to the R2 for QoS to properly be able to control the network and eliminate lag so if you have devices upstream connected to the ISP modem/router QoS won't work properly. How do you have Traffic Prioritization set up?
