  1. Are you using a VPN server close to your location?
  2. It will still be going through the router, try using it with HybridVPN instead so it's directly on the router, then see if that works
  3. On the Congestion Control panel click the icon and disable it from there please then see if you can connect
  4. Yeah that's nothing basically, it's not enough to cause any local congestion or delay so it looks like a game side issue with whatever they're doing with the internet aspect in those game modes
  5. It's an IPv6/authentication server so that shouldn't really be impacting you at all. When you're playing the single player, have a look at the Network Monitor, how much traffic is being used for the console?
  6. Does the CPU hitting 100% and throttling only happen when using local traffic on the NAS or does it happen if you're downloading from the internet as well for example? Also is the NAS directly attached via USB to the router?
  7. I'll pass it on to the team to have a look at. Entirely up to you really, if you want to use 3.3 then best to have the 500 as the main router with the AX WiFi of the 1000 in AP mode. I think upgrading using TFTP would probably help you as it bypasses the boot process. https://kb.netgear.com/000059633/How-do-I-upload-firmware-to-my-NETGEAR-router-using-a-TFTP-client-on-Microsoft-Windows you could use nmrpflash instead which people seem to have more success with. You may need to downgrade firmware to a much older one so you can enable telnet. Once you've upgraded via TFTP you can factory reset and it should be smoother from then on.
  8. Thank you, I will pass it on.
  9. So you're playing Single player essentially and without it connected to the internet it performs better? I can only think that they must be collecting stats in real time on the match for some reason via the internet which is causing some delays, it really shouldn't but that's the only explanation I can think of.
  10. Okay interesting, do keep us posted! That is normal, the Geo-Filter can't tell when you're hosting or not so we do suggest either being the party leader or disabling it if someone else is going to be the leader.
  11. Could you just provide a screenshot of the Geo-Filter and QoS page please? Just so I can double check they're disabled as nothing else should have the capability of blocking it. Have you made any Traffic Controller rules or done port forwarding etc?
  12. Did anything change between the last time you posted and now? Change any settings etc?
  13. I would recommend factory resetting after the upgrade has successfully gone through, I generally recommend to factory reset after an update have been completed. Make sure you check the update has finished by waiting a few minutes after uploading then accessing the interface, then you can factory reset.
  14. Interesting, if you get the IP of your PC from the Device Manager then put that in the DMZ in settings, can you then launch the game successfully? Once you've checked take it out of the DMZ as it is a security risk.
  15. Direct to the modem does it still happen?
  16. Thanks, keep us posted - make sure it's working before hand of course before you shut it down fully. I'm sure he won't be commenting again, you did manage to report him so that's all done.
  17. Okay when you're done playing could you shut down the console fully so it's not in a standby mode then when you turn it on next time see if it works as expected then please. Also @Fuzy is trying to help, his native language is French but he is still trying to help, he's also a moderator so please keep it respectful.
  18. Are you literally leaving the Geo-Filter settings alone when coming off the game? Are you leaving the console in an instant on/standby mode by any chance?
  19. Based on your Ping Heatmap it's going to be very hard to secure servers under 50ms using Ping Assist. As you know where the servers are that give you the lowest ping, instead of using the radius which may cover other servers a little higher, use the polygon mode then draw around the servers you want. That will then block all other servers outside the servers you want to connect to. Ping Assist is more of an assist, it is not a hard limit and you can get servers higher than that value when using it - it will not be a consistent way to get servers according to your requirements. Italian and Spanish servers are also notoriously hard to force as they don't always seem to be online - you may have better luck with those ones specifically during different times of the day.
  20. You can use the radius and move your location so you can force those servers in Europe, there are quite a few around if you take a look in Ping Heatmap, that way you can then disable Ping Assist which I don't think is helping you at all, especially if it's enabled before the game is booted up. Disable Ping Assist, move your location to more central Europe, open the radius to 1000-2000km. Do the process I mentioned again then search for a game. Also if extra screenshots are needed use this guide, then I can see the whole page: https://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/articles/16000022394-how-do-i-take-a-screenshot-
  21. Yeah give that a go. You may need to reboot the Asus, wait 2 minutes then reboot the R2, wait 4 minutes to get internet
  22. Are you experiencing this on the Early Access firmware?
  23. Give the router a reboot from the interface, wait 2 minutes then try again please
  24. What is the error you're getting exactly?
  25. Your ping to Google servers don't matter though, it matters where the game servers are located in relation to you, what ping do you get in game/on the Geo-Filter?
