  1. No unfortunately not as we do not sell the R2 anymore we wouldn't be able to do anything with it. We put the launch discount on so that our existing customers could update at a reduced price.

The software on the XR range was not purely our software, the Settings page were all Netgear so that's probably where the confusion is coming in as I can see from your point of view that some aspects would be missing. However, in terms of our own software where we created the Settings ourselves it doesn't miss anything that the R2 had for example. I don't think you could apply 1 port rule to multiple devices at the same time on the XR500 either

  4. In some cases you'll need to reboot before you upgrade if it failed the first time so try that then do a factory reset once complete and you should be good to go

  12. It's not possible to connect to it on the WAN side, you have to be connected to the router either via WiFi or ethernet. It has been requested so it's on the list to be potentially added in future.
  13. What web browser/device are you using to access the interface?
  14. Try this: Disable GeoLatency Disable PingAssist (set it to 0,0) Enable Strict Mode Disable Fast Search Then, restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game) or if that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and try again please. See if that is more stable for you.
  15. I have sent you an update in PMs. You shouldn't be losing access to the interface at all so please let us know if that keeps happening after the upgrade

  17. I've sent you a PM with firmware as I don't think you should be having those issues, please install it then factory reset and see if they are resolved. What was the Adblocker list you tried to add? Fair point on the smaller window for Settings, I'll add a request to expand that. We've never had any Firewall settings on our routers, as I mentioned it's primarily a gaming router, if we were making a more complex router things like this would be included. Good request for DHCP will add that to the list. Both the LEDs and WiFi power has been requested, as well as scheduled reboot so we may see that in future. Does your ping go up because it's connecting to a different server? If so then it would be best to keep the Geo enabled so you can try to force it every time.

  19. Congestion Control has to be set to Always for these tests. Disable Traffic Prioritization as it can interfere with these tests then try it again
  20. Did you get the disconnect just prior to getting the log? Are you using HybridVPN at all?
  21. Best to respond on the forum, I am getting so many DMs at the moment that it is highly likely I will miss it. Are the TP Links powerline adapters or are they routers as well?
  22. I mean, there is an additional hop, albeit it probably on 1ms ping worth by having the other router. As long as no devices are connected to that other router then there won't be much difference.
