Great to hear that! We'll be making improvements to it but assuming it is working correctly then it's advising what is best at that time, certain factors like time of day, ISP congestion etc could impact it. So if you're doing it at a quiet time of the day it could give a more conservative result.

A reboot would fix most issues, a factory reset should be done if persistent settings changes aren't resulting in expected behavior and a reboot isn't helping

That should only happen if your upstream modem/router is using 192.168.1.1, if you then change that or take it out of the equation and factory reset the XR it would go back to 1.1

I don't know how .16 was downgraded to, to be honest, I don't even have that file but I can send .17 which I have done - wouldn't recommend it though

It's likely the console caching everything, so the above should help but the team will be looking into it regardless. I would recommend it yes. Any Geo-Filter settings you want to change when you're already on the game I would suggest either rebooting the game or console

Try this, remove the console from the Geo-Filter and in the Device Manager change it to a PC then re-add it to the Geo-Filter, does it work better then?

Interesting, could you get the logs from the troubleshooting page when that happens please and also check direct to the modem on whether you get disconnects

As it's a Sunday no one is in but I'll get someone to try tomorrow. If your ISP modem/router has WiFi, set it up so that it is in bridge or modem mode, you can also use the DMZ. Copy the WAN IP from the R2 (found in System Information) and enter it into the DMZ function on the ISP modem/router. Then enable remote support in Settings > WAN and post back here with a device connected to the R2.
