Device Manager Import / Export Functions

Thank you, I will pass that on to see if we can make it better. You can change the view to just WiFi or wired which would help -
Missing devices on network monitoring
Netduma Fraser replied to BSilverthorn's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Does it show your device in the Device Manager at all? -
We're looking into the issue for the XR1000, keep an eye out on the app store for future updates

Great example of how ISP routers can be weird with new devices, glad you were able to get it sorted!

Geo-filter problem on google chrome
Netduma Fraser replied to De4d SaVi0r's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Could you access using the IP address instead so http://192.168.1.1 and see if it works then please? -
Ahh that's great to hear! ISP routers can be funny sometimes in how they handle new devices, glad it's all worked out now. Probably best to leave it as is now it's working properly!

Geo-Latency is enabled by default so probably was on, alright let us know!

Device Manager Import / Export Functions
Netduma Fraser replied to UK_Wildcats_Fans's topic in Netduma R3 Support
That's a really good catch, I was able to reproduce this, I will pass it onto the team to fix. Could you provide a screenshot of how that looks please? -
Do you mean the ISP router LAN is connected to R3 LAN or WAN? Okay no worries about bypass, it's enabled by default. Is it possible for the R3 to replace the ISP router at all - is the wall socket using ethernet?

Geo-filter problem on google chrome
Netduma Fraser replied to De4d SaVi0r's topic in Netduma R3 Support
It should work fine on Google Chrome, do you have a browser based Adblocker enabled? If so disable that and refresh the page -
Yes on the Geo-Filter page if you click the 3 dots icon in the top right and go to Settings, Geo-Latency and Ping Assist can be enabled from there
-
Are all devices connected to the R3? Do you have speed test bypass enabled or have you disabled it?
-
Yes there is a way! Go to Settings > Internet Rules and you can do it from there. Great to hear that!
-
Thank you, much appreciated!
-
Brilliant to hear that, we do actually already have a fix for it, I can send you the file or it's in the process of slowly being rolled out to units so you could wait until the R3 informs you there is an update. Just let me know!
-
Great to hear that! It's in Settings > WAN

Device Manager Import / Export Functions
Netduma Fraser replied to UK_Wildcats_Fans's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Ah gotcha, that makes sense, I'll ask the team to see if they can add it back. -
I'll send you a DM that should get you through the wizard

Understanding SmartBOOST and prioritization
Netduma Fraser replied to Donut's topic in Netduma R3 Support
You can't specifically do that but probably what you need is to enable Congestion Control - you can do this from Ping Optimizer > Advanced, set that to 70/70 and that should resolve it -
To force you'll definitely need it disabled. Disable Geo-Latency, reboot then try again, does it allow you to force abroad then?

Device Manager Import / Export Functions
Netduma Fraser replied to UK_Wildcats_Fans's topic in Netduma R3 Support
There isn't the ability to do that, is there a specific use case for this? I can request the team to add it -
R3 Stuck on bootlop first time booting
Netduma Fraser replied to DARKNESS's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Okay interesting, thanks for letting us know. Instead of filtering using IPs it does so via ping instead. What do you mean? -
Do you have Ping Assist enabled at all?
-
Yes that should work, remove the PC from the Geo-Filter and in the Device Manager click on the device, click on the picture and change it to the PlayStation icon (1st icon second row), click save top right. Go back to the Geo-Filter, re-add it to the Geo-Filter then try again after rebooting the PC please
