Yes if you disable filtering on the Geo-Filter for a specific device it will not filter for that device but you'll still be able to see and ping servers
-
No not yet, the team will ensure stability on the R3 first before porting
-
Exactly as above, I may well have replied to you with it now if you did email
-
We are aware Ping Optimizer/Speed Test isn't 100% reliable at the moment and it's something the team are working on. Those features can still work, it just may not be every time.

5 second ‘disconnect’ after 10pm?
Netduma Fraser replied to banjo22's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
They are usually false positives yes but I've not seen one from a source unknown and also prior to a disconnect with no other entries, it's worth a try at least. -
So speedtests on wireless devices are fine? It's likely the Adblocker, if you disable that on the router is it better then?
-
Netduma R2 - can it work as an access point?
Netduma Fraser replied to nuno10costa's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Check the IP on the console itself and with the device you think it is on the Device Manager and make sure they match and that you haven't added the AP itself -
Great to hear that, thanks for the update!
-
It's working fine for me, have you disabled SmartBOOST or anything like that? Are devices connected directly to the R3 or through a switch/extender/AP etc?
-
Personne n'a reçu de version de test de DumaOS 4 sur le R2, je vous assure qu'elle n'est pas encore disponible - même moi je ne l'ai pas.

Versione v4 0 21 problemi download
Netduma Fraser replied to Damiano Calafiore's topic in Netduma R3 Support
What are your Congestion Control settings exactly? You likely won't get those high speeds using PPPoE for the moment but we'll be working on boosting that if possible -
Doesn't give the right speed in what sense? What settings are you using? That wouldn't have an affect on the servers if you're not getting full speeds
-
Clear browser cache and speed test bypass should then appear. If you check on a wired PC do you have the expected speeds? I know the console speed tests are not always accurate

Duma OS wouldn't open, reboot R3 to fix problems.
Netduma Fraser replied to COD WARFARE's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Yes exactly -
Nat type Moderate - Help required
Netduma Fraser replied to DeeKay_FPS's topic in Netduma R3 Support
That looks good, though disable UPnP on the ISP router. Also disable DMZ on the R3, it's a big security risk having the PC in it. Once you've done that reboot the ISP router, wait a few minutes then reboot the R3, wait a few minutes and it should work. If not you'll likely need to do some port forwarding on the R3. -

Sorry for the late reply, I know for Overwatch it's one of the games that doesn't filter very well and so if you want to filter you'll have to use Geo-Latency with it. Steady Ping won't necessarily work with all games, we know it does work for CoD and if we can widen it's compatibility we will definitely do so. Diablo 4 has been requested so we'll probably get that added. As for everything else such as Twitch, there are a few issues that could be contributing to that which should be fixed quite soon so that should improve.

5 second ‘disconnect’ after 10pm?
Netduma Fraser replied to banjo22's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Maybe, it is the entry prior to the disconnect, if you play direct on your modem do you get the same issues if you try it for a few days? -
Sent, it is stable but there are still things to be sorted - it was made prior to the holidays when reports were just starting to come in

Those tests aren't really the best way of determining the best values to eliminate bufferbloat. I'd suggest following this guide, while downloading heavily to saturate the connection https://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/articles/16000074717-how-to-test-your-internet-ping It's best to start with a high value for Congestion Control (set to Always), say 95% then do a test, decrease by 10%, test, decrease by 10% etc, until you get to a value that is pretty good and then try 5% either side of that value to see if it can be improved. It's important to note that Download & Upload on Congestion Control don't have to be the same value and that you may have a better experience with differing values.

Custom GeoFilter Improvement Suggestion
Netduma Fraser replied to FallenGhoul's topic in Netduma R3 Support
It is something that has been requested and we're considering, will take quite a bit of work though. Glad it's something you'd like to see! -
connecting outside of my red zone again
Netduma Fraser replied to Westy147's topic in Netduma R3 Support
I've sent you .23 via PM which has some Geo-Filter improvements (we'll be making more so this is just in the meantime), you can upgrade from Settings > Troubleshooting, once complete I'd recommend doing a factory reset
