cant get bt full fiber to work with router
Netduma Fraser replied to Dazz21kk's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Understood, when the speed drops do you notice any patterns e.g. after changing a setting, specific network usage etc? -
COD MW3 with HybridVPN can't connect to servers
Netduma Fraser replied to dushy's topic in Netduma R2 Support
We don't have any specific recommendations for VPN, as long as it supports the protocols HybridVPN uses you should be able to connect -
Do a factory reset, would be a good idea to do so after the few updates and it should be fine after that
-
That's Ping Heatmap, it just pings servers, what you want/need to use is the Geo-Filter
-
It may not work on all games so that is expected, if we can get more games supported we will but it won't necessarily be possible for every game

Nein, das ist eine andere Funktion, lassen Sie das auf dem Standardwert, die Portweiterleitung wie oben wird im Wesentlichen dasselbe wie die DMZ tun.

cant get bt full fiber to work with router
Netduma Fraser replied to Dazz21kk's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Does that mean you only have one device connected to the R3 with everything else using the SH2? -
Might be some settings on there interfering with it, if so we can definitely look into that. Can you disable all functions and then see if everything appears online after a reboot?
-
What ports did you forward specifically?
-
We didn't make any changes to it but that's good to hear!
-
Thank you very much for the kind words, it's appreciated. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
-
Okay thanks, I'll see what the limit is and then we can put that on the page so people know
-
I'm not sure yet whether its a server problem or a bug but I have sent you a PM with something that could help, let us know in the topic please.
-
Das kann funktionieren, indem Sie die Ports 1-65535 TCP/UDP mit dem R3 verbinden. Das ist großartig, wenn Sie bereits ein Open NAT haben, ich würde es aber trotzdem empfehlen

I'll have some time on the key days, thank you. Happy Holidays to you too!

cant get bt full fiber to work with router

In addition to the above did you set the DMZ and are ALL devices connected to the R3? -
You generally don't need to but could be a good idea to. You can do it from Settings > Troubleshooting or hold the reset button in the back of the router down for 30 seconds That's been requested as well actually so I've added it to the list. The higher ping sounds like it is the Steady Ping feature: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IElhhEi70Pg we just released a video explaining this. It can be disabled. For it going outside the radius try this: Disable GeoLatency Disable PingAssist (set it to 0,0) Enable Strict Mode Disable Fast Search Then, restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game) or if that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and try again please. See if that is more stable for you. We're all good thanks, the team are all off to enjoy their holidays now!
-
That is true, that's what we did see in testing but as above every environment is different so results will vary. I can ask the team what the setup was but they're all off until the New Year so would have to get back to you then.

It'll have to be modem > R3 > Switch. If it's a pure modem it can only have one device connected to it that it provides internet to. Is it a managed or unmanaged switch?
-
Do you have an Open NAT in the game? If so they're probably not triggering as they're not needed and UPnP is taking care of it

Can't connect Netduma r3 via PPPoe
Netduma Fraser replied to liolio2277's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Are you getting a specific error when trying to upgrade? Sent -
Essentially it's syncing you up to the server better e.g. you have a 20ms ping to the server so that's what the server expects, you get a spike/jitter and the game server doesn't expect it which leads to hit detection/lag moments. Stabilizing the ping to sync you with the server means the whole game you'll have 1 consistent ping that won't change and give you a much smoother experience.
