MW3 Location SERVERS IN BRAZIL
Netduma Fraser replied to rlemonica's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
For the Geo-Filter try this: Disable GeoLatency Disable PingAssist (set it to 0,0) Enable Strict Mode Disable Fast Search Then, restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game) or if that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and try again please. See if that is more stable for you. -
cant get bt full fiber to work with router
Netduma Fraser replied to Dazz21kk's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Have you entered the R3 in the DMZ on the Smart Hub? Are ALL devices connected to the R3? What does the speed reduce to, is this over WiFi, ethernet or both? -
I don't think we thought many people would have more than 4 gaming devices at any one time and that it may also cause the Geo-Filter to become quite messy but it has been requested so we'll look into it.

Disappointing to hear it felt cheap to you, was it just more so because it was light? Great to hear otherwise you're having a great experience. IPv6 DNS has been requested so likely we'll be adding that in a future update. I have sent you a PM with an update that would fix a potential issue you might have based on your usage so make sure to upgrade to that prior to gaming Steady Ping is just for the Geo-Filter

Switch to Simple instead of custom as you haven't set a polygon range so it won't properly filter that way unless you draw an area

What domain error is that exactly?

ANNOUNCEMENT: Introducing the Netduma R3
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Lew's topic in News & Announcements
No unfortunately not as we do not sell the R2 anymore we wouldn't be able to do anything with it. We put the launch discount on so that our existing customers could update at a reduced price. -
The software on the XR range was not purely our software, the Settings page were all Netgear so that's probably where the confusion is coming in as I can see from your point of view that some aspects would be missing. However, in terms of our own software where we created the Settings ourselves it doesn't miss anything that the R2 had for example. I don't think you could apply 1 port rule to multiple devices at the same time on the XR500 either

Problem with auto update and ping heatmap game list
Netduma Fraser replied to Copystar's topic in Netduma R3 Support
In some cases you'll need to reboot before you upgrade if it failed the first time so try that then do a factory reset once complete and you should be good to go -

Geo filter not working / connection through TP link?
Netduma Fraser replied to Goodwinn20's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Okay yes that should be fine, I'm not generally a fan of those types of products but yes it will work -
It's not possible to connect to it on the WAN side, you have to be connected to the router either via WiFi or ethernet. It has been requested so it's on the list to be potentially added in future.

What web browser/device are you using to access the interface?

I have sent you an update in PMs. You shouldn't be losing access to the interface at all so please let us know if that keeps happening after the upgrade

Can't connect Netduma r3 via PPPoe
Netduma Fraser replied to liolio2277's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Great to hear it's working now, it's in Settings > Troubleshooting > Advanced > System Logs -
I've sent you a PM with firmware as I don't think you should be having those issues, please install it then factory reset and see if they are resolved. What was the Adblocker list you tried to add? Fair point on the smaller window for Settings, I'll add a request to expand that. We've never had any Firewall settings on our routers, as I mentioned it's primarily a gaming router, if we were making a more complex router things like this would be included. Good request for DHCP will add that to the list. Both the LEDs and WiFi power has been requested, as well as scheduled reboot so we may see that in future. Does your ping go up because it's connecting to a different server? If so then it would be best to keep the Geo enabled so you can try to force it every time.
