How are the devices connected, via ethernet or WiFi? What happens when you try to access via the app? - Do you still have access via a PC when this happens?

No it's not, how are you connected to the router when changing the settings? What browser/device are you using? Are you accessing using 192.168.77.1 or dumaos and does it make a difference which you use?

Please do the following: Ensure the upstream/ISP modem/router the R3 is connected to is setup with the R3 in its DMZ or in modem/bridge mode. Ensure ALL devices are connected to the R3 or at the very least that there are no devices connected/using internet on the upstream router when testing If you have multiple ethernet cables test using different cables connecting the R3 to the modem/the R3 to your device Disable IPv6 in LAN/WAN Please state if you are using PPPoE, VLAN or DHCP identifiers Use a different DNS such as 1.1.1.1 / 1.0.0.1 As a test make an Internet rule to the device and allow ALL traffic then test, is there a difference? (Settings > Internet Rules) As a test put the PC in the DMZ (briefly for the test then remove), then do a test, is there a difference? Remove all prioritizations from SmartBOOST including activities/devices If the above doesn't help disable SmartBOOST entirely from the 3 dots menu top right of the page > Settings then test Disable Steady Ping on the Geo-Filter page in case it is affecting traffic outside the Geo-Filter - also ensure no devices are added there Disable Adblocker Ensure you have your correct speeds entered in Speed Test > Advanced With SmartBOOST enabled, adjust Congestion Control in Ping Optimizer > Advanced and have it set to Always On and ensure speed test bypass is enabled Ensure you're doing this test over a wired connection - NOT WiFi Ensure in WAN/LAN Settings that the speeds of the ports are at 1Gbps Remove any port forwarding/DMZ/static routes you may have set Test at different times of the day i.e. during peak time (results may be worse) and during non peak times (should be better) Once you've covered everything on this list please let us know the results. This should give us a good indicator of what the problem may be if it's covered in the list or whether it's something more on the backend. The team can then have a look.

We are aware Ping Optimizer/Speed Test isn't 100% reliable at the moment and it's something the team will work on when they're back from the holidays. Those features can still work, it just may not be every time. Where are you measuring the ping exactly? How big are the spikes? What Congestion Control settings are you using currently? What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode. What speeds do you pay for/expect and what are you seeing with a wired test to Ookla? Sent firmware in PM

We are aware Ping Optimizer/Speed Test isn't 100% reliable at the moment and it's something the team will work on when they're back from the holidays. Those features can still work, it just may not be every time. Port Forwarding, they appear to show as active but I believe they are working in the background. The team will fix that when they're back from the holidays. What activities specifically? How have you set it up?

Try this: Split the bands, give 2.4/5GHz different names and apply - you'll want to connect to 5GHz specifically for speeds Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _ -

Geo-Latency allows games previously unfilterable to be filtered as well as allowing things like Discord and your friends to connect to you without having to add them like you previously had to. It does work for CoD. Steady Ping will be helpful if you have any fluctuations in ping at all, if you feel you have a better experience without that's absolutely fine. Keep in mind with Ping Assist that it may get games outside your radius that fall under the ping value you set.

DMZ passes all traffic through to the device placed in it. Copy the WAN IP from the R3 WAN Settings page, access the ISP modem/router and enter it in the DMZ function there. So if that isn't done traffic could be interrupted which could cause the issue. Some servers are very hard to connect to or don't always appear to be connectable, I imagine they may be overflow servers so if the usual servers are under heavy load they can bring those online. You don't need to change MTU, it's probably 1500 the default.

Yes it will be easy to replace the R2 with the R3, connect it in the same way, run through the R3 wizard and you'll be good to go. I don't, sorry, I think for the R2 it ran for about 2-3 months but doesn't mean the same will apply here

Did you have the port forwarding set previously before I mentioned the DMZ? Remove all of that, reboot from the interface, close the tab, wait 4 minutes then try again please
