Réglages QOS/ hiérarchiesation du traffic pour warzone sur PC
Netduma Fraser replied to Matvent's topic in NETDUMA Français
That's correct. No you don't need to do that as you already have the option to add it as a priority with the Games Console option. -
Is the Netduma R3 really the best router for me?
Netduma Fraser replied to Iced Soul's topic in Call of Duty Support
SQM isn't really new per se and is already what we offer with our QoS solution which will only get better with the next update we're working on. It really depends on how you're going to integrate your gaming router into your setup. If for example your setup will be: Main Router (All Devices Connected) > Gaming Router (Just Gaming Device Connected) then QoS/SQM is irrelevant because the router won't be able to control the entire network. It would only be able to control the gaming device which from the gaming router perspective isn't competiting with any other device. However, it's actually competing with every other device connected upstream to the main router. If you really wanted to do it this way then the main benefit you would get would be from using the Geo-Filter on the R3, something no other gaming router has. If for example your setup will be: Main Router > Gaming Router (All Devices Connected Including Gaming Device) or some variant of that then QoS/SQM is a lot more relevant as it can control most if not all (it really should control everything for max effect) of the devices on the network. In which case I'd still suggest the R3 for our current QoS implementation but then even more so for the next iteration of QoS that we have planned. -
Problema Wi-Fi 5Ghz netuduma R3

Most likely due to PPPoE, we do have a report from 1 other person regarding that so it is already being looked into. Thanks for the update and confirmation. -

NEW R3 FIRMWARE - DumaOS 4.0.540

Try completing through the DumaOS mobile app instead please and see if you can complete the wizard/load correctly
-
Good to hear, thanks for the update!
-
Exactly that - when you've done it and access the interface are you greeted with the Setup Wizard? If yes you've done it correctly, if not then you've just rebooted it, in which case is it definitely the button where you put a thin tool like a pin in to hold the button? That's the button you need to use.

Alternatively factory reset using the button in the back of the router as above

how can i block google servers on xr500
Netduma Fraser replied to onurae's topic in Feature Ideas & Improvements for DumaOS
It's primarily a server based game now as far as I am aware so I don't think that would be possible. However, if you want to try it then you can try to add every server you connect to to the deny list and maybe you'll get more P2P games but its unlikely. -
If they were deleted at some point and now connect via a different method or are named differently or have a different device type that will be why, they'd have to have the exact same information as before the delete/issue. Settings > Administration > Backup Settings > Erase then close the tab, wait 4 minutes then access

The router model the R3 is connected to. Okay so the R3 is handling PPPoE? What do you mean it moves back to lower prioritization? Can you provide a video of what is happening?
-
It's likely a device from the Device Manager has been deleted that was added to Traffic Prioritization on the QoS page. You have two options to remove the error and restore functionality: Factory reset Reconnect the device to the router via the same method (ethernet or WiFi), give it the same name as you had previously in the Device Manager as well as give it the same device type in the Device Manager
-
What are you seeing when you try to load the link above - can you provide a screenshot please? You won't be able to use TFTP, that page should load though, it's exceptionally difficult to brick the R3

What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the R3? What are the speeds you pay for/receive? Have you entered those speeds into the router? Is Congestion Control set to Always? What platform are you playing on and how is it connected, via ethernet or WiFi? What do you mean it moves back to lower prioritization? Can you provide a video of what is happening?
-
Not working properly in what sense? How is it not allowing you to make changes exactly? What is your ping and where are you measuring it, Geo-Filter, Speedtest, in game etc? How have you setup Congestion Control (Ping Optimizer > Advanced)?

NEW XR700 BETA FIRMWARE: 3.3.363
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Lew's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
It's still absolutely useable for getting the best connection possible but if you want the better software then yes you'd have to. Again not really up to us, something they would need to decide on. -

That's entirely up to NTGR but as it is End of Service it is very unlikely
