Give the router a reboot and see if the errors go. Is the VPN working now you've added the device on the right?

just a couple of issues, not sure how fix…
Netduma Fraser replied to Lsmith24's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Very likely Steady Ping as others have mentioned. In terms of can you get lower it really depends if there are other servers in your area that you ping lower to. You can check with Ping Heatmap -
Good advice above, if that is the case try putting the VM Hub into router mode and copy the WAN IP from the R3 WAN Settings page and put that in the DMZ function on the VM hub then check the speed from the R3 again. Also make sure you have entered your expected speeds on the router.

¿Que esta pasando con la beta de xr1000?
Netduma Fraser replied to yeraymateo's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
The delay isn't all down to us, we're also verifying a fix for a long standing issue that is important to resolve before release -
We're going to get it as stable as possible on the R3 first, then we'll port it over to the R2. This will be the fastest way and more efficient while ensuring any big issues are resolved before porting.

It will be yes, there will be a DPI update for it soon

Automatic things.
Netduma Fraser replied to Proud R3 Owner's topic in Feature Ideas & Improvements for DumaOS
Scheduling reboots is something that has been requested before so it is on the list. Cloud sync is already automatic. Firmware updates I don't think we'll make it so it automatically updates but when one is ready the interface will show you and you can update it from there. -

Severe bufferbloat on my Smart Modem 2
Netduma Fraser replied to GloryDownUnder's topic in Telstra Internet Optimiser support
That's what the Congestion Control aspect is for, if you experiment with the percentages and test you should be able to find a value that works the best for you- 2 replies

Adblocker is enabled by default if I remember correctly so best to double check. Click on your device on the Geo-Filter and then disable filtering then check

You need to add your device on the right for the VPN to apply to Are you using a web browser Adblocker?

Best Smartboost configuration for Low Ping
Netduma Fraser replied to Luis Gomes's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Prioritize your console yes but then all you really need to do is adjust Congestion Control which will make sure YouTube doesn't cause you any issues -
Xr500 use in 2024
Netduma Fraser replied to shahidwali13's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
If local congestion won't be an issue and you can't force any other low ping servers in your area I'm not sure how much it will help to be honest -
Okay fair enough, a new update won't be far off which will have more improvements/fixes so will be worth trying again when that is available
-
I'll ask the devs to have a look at those entries to see if it indicates the issue
-
Do what is mentioned above, click Steady Ping at the top of the map and then click stats bottom right and see if it is indeed stabilizing the ping even if the ping is not shown (it won't always be possible to show the ping)

I think HMA only offer OpenVPN so yes it would be that option then you put the config file contents in the configuration box, enter your HMA username/password in the relevant fields. You would need to do the same thing with ExpressVPN. We aren't partnered with those services

Xr500 use in 2024
Netduma Fraser replied to shahidwali13's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
It's still a good option yes, though it is older now and there will likely not be any further feature upgrades for it. If local congestion is an issue for you then it will help, in terms of servers though you're limited to what is around you so it can't lower that ping as you're likely already connecting to the available servers in your region. There are no guarantees in life and that applies here as well, in theory yes it will work well for you based on what I mentioned but I can't promise you anything, you would have to research it and weigh up the pros/cons in your own mind before purchasing. Probably the best thing to do is to make sure wherever you purchase from has a return/refund policy if you need it. -

I think so yes so you can get access again and then upgrade to the above firmware to see if it is more stable -

Netduma Fraser replied to Lsmith24's topic in Netduma R3 Support
There will be an update and it would detail it in the change log on that update if included -
Set a static/reserved IP for the device and see if it helps then please

Have you got your web browser setup to clear cache/cookies every time you close a tab/browser? Do you get the same issue in another browser? -

You may need to do a factory reset then unfortunately, I have given you access now to the new firmware which you can find here:https://forum.netduma.com/forum/144-netduma-r2-early-access/ -
Just to double check is the WAN/internet port of the XR connected to a LAN port on your ISP modem/router? Usually this happens when they haven't been connected together properly
