  1. The test is simulating a saturated network and what your ping would then be in that scenario so that does make sense
  2. Great to hear that, thanks for the update!
  3. You can't skip them no, the game is wanting to connect you to those servers for whatever reason and the Geo-Filter is blocking them which should then force the game to allow you into games the Geo-Filter is allowing.
  4. You would only need to put it into the router and it won't really have any effect on the quality of your games
  5. As above, that's the limit. The benefit of using HybridVPN though is that you can specify what it applies to on the device so the rest of the device can go through your normal connection - if applicable.
  6. No nothing wrong, we will have added some servers to the whitelist so you can connect
  7. Do you get the same issue directly connected to your modem? Could you provide a screenshot of your QoS page and also the table view of the Device Manager please?
  8. Definitely don't use 100% Congestion Control, it won't do anything. As you've not provided all the settings this will be general advice but see if it helps: Congestion Control set to Always Congestion Control set to 70% for download and upload Make sure you've entered your expected/paid for bandwidth speeds On SmartBOOST disable all priorities and just make one for the gaming device On Geo-Filter set the radius at 1000km On Geo-Filter disable Steady Ping On Geo-Filter disable GeoLatency When you make any changes on the Geo-Filter restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game). If that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and it should work then. Disable IPv6 in LAN/WAN Disable Adblocker
  9. Does the ping fluctuate at all? Try disabling Steady Ping. Also try servers slightly further away, just in case they are more stable
  10. Try disabling the protection options in Settings, that might help, if not try disabling SmartBOOST. Otherwise I don't think there is anything else that would be blocking it. I will make that request.
  11. Could you provide the log from Settings > Troubleshooting when you get the issue please? Is it all devices you see it on? Have you split the WiFi bands?
  12. We are contemplating merging Heatmap and Geo together as well as having multiple Geo-Filters but it is a lot of work. If you click on the server you should see more information like tick rate.
  13. Are you referring to Steady Ping? If so it's a Geo-Filter feature so yes it'd work in this setup. The R3 only has an option for IPv6 on/off for WAN/LAN and its enabled by default so not much to change on the R3 in that regard.
  14. Depending on where you're located in relation to the speed test servers it can give you lower results, set them manually instead. You haven't mentioned how the settings I asked about were set, how have they been done? How have you setup the Geo-Filter? Are other devices online at the team when you're testing? I wouldn't suggest downgrading at this stage, I don't know what your settings are yet.
  15. Okay that's good, if that ping was a factor you'd have a much higher ping in game. Is the ping you're seeing on the Geo-Filter good/average for you generally?
  16. You're precisely why we choose to have a forum for support, we can't be available all the time so it always helps to have people helping out each other! Well that'll be why it went bad after optimizing the ping at least - it cuts off the internet to perform the tests. What Congestion Control settings are you using currently (Ping Optimizer > Advanced)? How is SmartBOOST setup? You can disable Steady Ping on the Geo-Filter if you feel as though it adding ping may be negatively impacting you. I mean as in we just don't offer a live chat/call service, it's forum/email/socials based.
  17. For consoles potentially yes but I think it is more DPI based now e.g. if you're playing on an Xbox it should be able to tell you're playing CoD which it could tell based on ports alone
  18. On the Xbox itself in network settings make it use port 3074. We did do a DPI update recently so also resync the cloud on the Device Manager. Once you've done both those things see if it then works correctly please.
  19. The wired setup you mentioned is exactly how you would do it. While you have everything else using the AX really the main feature to use is the Geo-Filter as SmartBOOST/Congestion Control wouldn't be very effective at controlling the network.
  20. I don't provide live service support so I won't always reply immediately but I will always reply. You mentioned you didn't have the issue until you tried to optimize your ping so what exactly was it you did at that time?
  21. That literally makes 0 sense, have you disabled DHCP or anything like that? Can you connect using the DumaOS iOS app?
  22. It's just prioritizing traffic though, not doing any kind of blocking or port forwarding
  23. When playing have a look in Stats for nerds or Network Activity, does it show gaming there? What port is your Xbox using?
  24. Have you got the R3 in the DMZ on your ISP modem/router? I can request the feature to be added but may not be a quick thing
  25. There have been reports removing priorities on SmartBOOST or disabling can help prevent this. The team are looking into it
