The Geo-Filter isn't a VPN so it doesn't make your physical location appear to be somewhere else, if it was that way your ping would be even higher. The location on the game doesn't need to change to be able to force servers further away. Is your DumaOS router in the DMZ on your ISP modem/router? You will need to do that to get an Open NAT. What do you mean by "Is there a difference between geo filter and no lag geo filter ?"

NEW XR700 BETA FIRMWARE: 3.3.363
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Lew's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Yes it should work just the same on the XR1000 - just so you know the XR series won't get DumaOS 4 so won't be any new features coming to it -
They believe they know what the issue is and it'll be fixed in the next version

New issue with upnp port forwarding
Netduma Fraser replied to Spdsk8race's topic in Netduma R3 Support
That was just a check thanks, re-enable it and resync the cloud please. There will be a server being blocked most likely but I believe we added it in an update. -
It does yes, if you uninstall and reinstall the app does it work then?

New issue with upnp port forwarding
Netduma Fraser replied to Spdsk8race's topic in Netduma R3 Support
If you disable the Geo-Filter, do you continue to get the port issue? Unfortunately the logs won't have anything in them after a reboot. It is on the bug list so we'll get that sorted. -
You don't need to disable UPnP on either. No you shouldn't use both options. Not necessary to DMZ console on R3 - UPnP or port forwarding should get you open but you can resort to DMZ if required

As you know I'm not providing any ETAs, it will come once its ready and in a good place
-
I've no idea to be honest, of course smart devices are always in a 'listening' state so I would expect some sort of constant traffic but that does seem excessive. Yes quite possibly when it's at that level

It is a complete overhaul of the operating system, some features completely rewritten and it's free, we're not going to put something out that isn't ready

On the Xbox itself select the 3074 port in network settings -
¿Que esta pasando con la beta de xr1000?
Netduma Fraser replied to yeraymateo's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
It is the only answer I have for you unfortunately, we don't provide ETAs and they're always subject to change - I provided a rough estimate which we have gone past which has caused more annoyance -
We're aware of that, it's a visual issue, they will still be prioritized

Devices missing from Geofilter TAB
Netduma Fraser replied to Luis Gomes's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Did you delete the device from the Device Manager at all or anything like that? Likely a factory reset would resolve quickly -
Very hard to say to be honest without knowing what they were blocking - also not something I could speculate on, Adblocker just blocks ads I don't know how individual devices may communicate with services like that

70% is our recommended starting point but isn't necessarily perfect for everyone, experiment with the percentages to see which works best for you

XR1000 Unable To Access Web Portal
Netduma Fraser replied to fletcherjames1's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Do you ever see the credentials box appearing? As you should only see the reset password if you click cancel on that credentials box -
Trello or Similar Publication
Netduma Fraser replied to UK_Wildcats_Fans's topic in Netduma R3 Support
It has been suggested before, I don't think the team are keen on the idea to be honest. The development is very fluid, we could say we're working on this now and then that may change and it would just bring further annoyance I feel if a particular users issue has been delayed. -
Great to hear that, thanks for the update
