  1. Okay thanks, I'll get the team to reproduce that
  2. Check the IP address of your gaming device on the device itself, then check the Device Manager for the device you think it is, do the IPs match? The CPU will be fine but a reboot will bring it down if you're worried it's affecting you. We're aware of the visual high usage statement and will sort that.
  3. It still works for 2.4GHz! 5GHz will always be better for speed though
  4. This is likely a cache issue, clear browser cache and refresh and you should see them
  5. How old are both devices? AX WiFi would help you here I think so should be enabled
  6. That's all you need, you don't need LAN IPv6 - LAN IPv6 is just a way to assign local private addresses to devices so IPv4 is fine for that. If you then do an IPv6 test does it work?
  7. Okay interesting, could you just provide some reproducible steps I can pass to the team?
  8. You wouldn't be able to do that without Congestion Control available to use
  9. External power right now but I think we do have some ideas for it
  10. I don't think the XR1000 has HybridVPN currently so that wouldn't be possible, should be coming in the next version
  11. I believe you're referring to the 1 post yesterday which one user said they do to ensure the lowest CPU usage possible, not necessary or required, simply what they like to do. What features stop working after awhile?
  12. In that case it's likely the server we have hardcoded on the router that is no longer available, I'll get the team to resolve it for the next version
  13. I'll get the team to do an update, you'll still be able to connect to them on the Geo-Filter if they are available.
  14. Well when I say disable SmartBOOST I generally mean disabling the entire feature which yes would prevent Congestion Control being used. If you're just removing priorities then that's how I'd suggest putting it as it's more clear on what you're doing
  15. Before you email I would double check the terms at netduma.com/terms as you may not want to troubleshoot but may be required for your return
  16. I can't provide any ETA on updates, we provided quite a few updates since launch and the last on the last day of January but in some ways we prioritized speed as that's what people wanted, however that then introduced other issues. So now we're taking more time to be thorough and address the main issues people have reported without adding more issues. I realize that might be frustrating but in terms of making it a better product I think that is what needs to be done.
  17. I can't view this page as I'm not with them but are there instructions here that would help you do that? https://www.virginmedia.com/help/broadband/set-up-wifi-booster
  18. I'd check what firmware you're on, if you're not on .41 then that's likely why and upgrading will resolve it
  19. Fixes will come, it's likely though that there won't be any more feature updates. That could work, would suggest a factory reset once you've finished upgrading though.
  20. Do you have Speed Test Bypass disabled or enabled? Have you adjusted the Congestion Control percentages?
  21. In DHCP settings set the lease to 10000, apply and reboot and see whether that reduces the frequency please. Around what time did it start? Then I can match it up in the logs
  22. Could you try disabling QoS entirely from the Congestion Control menu and see if it still happens please?
