The R3 can handle that many devices so it's not a problem. With an AP technically the devices connected to it are seen as wired to the router as at no point does it connect to the R3 WiFi so it would be hard to overwrite that. You don't need to DMZ the AP either. I think maybe in theory if you rename the WiFi to be the same that could achieve what you want, I haven't tried it so not sure how effective it would be.

What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode. Are ALL devices connected to the R3? How have you set Congestion Control? Are you using Steady Ping on the Geo-Filter?

Adblock - Blocking Apple TV Components Bug Report
Netduma Fraser replied to Zac's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Yes essentially it's like a browser Adblocker at the network level. However, as the browser Adblocker I assume can block elements that's why it's easier to block video ads where its harder to do so at the network level. We do have some default lists, I'm not too sure how they were created but we're not using any other service. -
easports nhl24 "Couldn't Ping Server"
Netduma Fraser replied to xxfrostbitexx's topic in Community Discussion
That will happen sometimes as some servers don't respond to pings but it shouldn't be every time you play -

For Network Activity? Not that I know of, I can make a request to have them save past a reboot, that is a good point. -
Fixed CPU usage spike issue coming next week.

Do a factory reset, there has been a lot of changes -
Ports being opened or using the DMZ doesn't mean you'll get a good experience. What are your Geo-Filter, SmartBOOST and Congestion Control settings?
-
Try this that I posted above
-
It uses measurementlabs, if the main server is down and the backups are down it won't work
-
Exactly as above!
-
We're not giving out any ETAs but we're working on it. What's confusing about the interface exactly?
-
We'll be working on UPnP. Weighing down in what way? Change it then wait 10 seconds or so before changing the page then it should have saved Do you have speed test bypass enabled? If you using port forwarding that should work while we improve UPnP.
-
Yeah of course, entirely up to you!
-
It probably needs port forwarding, we're working to improve UPnP
-
Great to hear that, thanks for the update!

Worse Bufferbloat and various issues with R3
Netduma Fraser replied to canuckftc12W's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Try this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works better. Just unstar the ones that are added on SmartBOOST. -
Could you please change your username/display name? It can give the wrong impression that you're a member of staff. That's what a user has reported but I haven't seen it personally so couldn't say for certain. Cover a few servers within your radius, if it is there it may not always be available to connect to.
-
When it says it couldn't ping that is for a legitimate reason, some servers do not respond to pings. Is it pinging the rest of the time? We're working to improve the inactive/active showing but as you're getting games it is working just displaying incorrectly. What are your Congestion Control/SmartBOOST settings?

Xbox - Alternative port switches on its own
Netduma Fraser replied to Deasha's topic in Community Discussion
Okay try this, make sure DMZ is disabled, set a static/reserved IP for the device then set a port range port forwarding rule: Source start 3074 Source end 3074 Destination start 1024 Destination end 65535 TCP/UDP Does that allow you to get an Open NAT and stop the port changing on the console? -
Thank you, okay so the destination port is different, if you make a port range rule: Source start 3074 Source end 3074 Destination start 1024 Destination end 65535 TCP/UDP Does that then allow you to get an Open NAT?
-
UPnP is being looked into, in the meantime port forwarding should allow you to get an open NAT
-
If the server is unavailable it may not work, if you try a few more times it should be successful
-
If you download the logs using the button at the top and provide it here that would be better. What firmware version are you on? What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to?

Worse Bufferbloat and various issues with R3

Disable the priorities set on SmartBOOST as it can also interfere with the test. Not working in what way? -
It really depends on your connection and your use cases, there isn't a one size fits all option really. We generally recommend 70% at auto as a starting point
