  1. I think Safari forces HTTPS now which the interface wouldn't work well with but any Chromium browser should be fine. That could help with the issue potentially.
  2. If I've understood you correctly that is how it works, speed test bypass, bypasses your CC settings to show you your full speeds
  3. Try this: Split the bands, give 2.4/5GHz different names and apply - you'll want to connect to 5GHz specifically for speeds Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _ See if the speeds increase after that
  4. That's quite a bizarre looking log, I'll have to pass that onto the team to look into further.
  5. As you're having it quite often I think it'd be a good idea to get some remote logging setup for the router. If your ISP modem/router has WiFi, set it up so that it is in bridge or modem mode, you can also use the DMZ. Copy the WAN IP from the R3 (found in Settings > WAN) and enter it into the DMZ function on the ISP modem/router. Disable IPv6 in LAN/WAN on the R3 and enable remote support in Settings > Troubleshooting. Then post back here from a device connected to the R3 when you've done that and we'll attempt to connect on Monday to enable it.
  6. In that couple of hours timeframe where it is working, are you changing anything on the router? What kind of web traffic is happening?
  7. What XR router are you using exactly and what firmware version is it on? If you disable QoS fully from the Congestion Control menu does the issue happen again?
  8. We haven't got full support for the game so I can't give you a full proof way of filtering it. They appear to be using relay/proxy servers which could allow for games outside your radius. It might be best to disable the Geo-Filter and just use it to monitor where the game is putting you.
  9. The ping to your IP even though it's better than I thought, fluctuating from 0.5 - 5.5ms isn't great and if that is happening consistently then that could be part of the reason. Not all game servers will complete the trace, did this one? If the ping was as consistent as you said and nothing has changed on your side then it is likely they've changed the route to the server, you could try and talk to them about it but it might be hard to get them to fix it.
  10. Thanks for confirming, were you downloading heavily at the time by any chance?
  11. Okay thanks, keep us posted!
  12. I'd have to check in with the team, could you check the CPU usage currently on the router, is it high?
  13. The DMZ way is probably the best, could you check the CPU usage currently on the router, is it high? If you disable SmartBOOST then re-enable it does it get better?
  14. If you're doing a ping or a trace to your own IP address it should come back with about 1ms so the fact it's up to 10 is highly likely where your increased ping has come from. In which case that would be an ISP issue that you would need to contact them about as there is likely something amiss on your line.
  15. Did you factory reset after? If not it would be a good idea to do so
  16. You've managed to add your device twice which I'm not sure how you were able to but delete both of those devices on the Geo-Filter. Check the IP on the Xbox itself then check on the Device Manager for the device you think it is and check whether the IPs match. If they don't find the device with the correct IP and re-name it, then add it make to the Geo-Filter. Reboot the console and see if it works then.
  17. What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode. Are ALL devices connected to the R3?
  18. Okay so access to the router you mean, do you have internet? If you're saying no access via WiFi does that mean you're able to access fine via ethernet?
  19. You'll need to switch it to Always for it to show better results on waveform, if SmartBOOST isn't triggering it won't show anything
  20. By can't connect to the WiFi what do you mean exactly - you can connect to it but don't have internet or it literally will not allow you to join the WiFi network? If the latter what does it say when you try?
  21. I wouldn't use Ping Heatmap to monitor your real world ping to the game server as it won't always be the same server you're playing on - are you seeing this also reflected in the Geo-Filter ping? Has anything changed with your ISP/Setup/Settings when you noticed it?
  22. Ping Optimizer will have set your speeds lower to eliminate congestion, it also says it's lowered your ping there so it depends which results you want to believe. If you want to go off the waveform test then in Ping Optimizer > Advanced you can adjust Congestion Control which is how you'll change the result, you'll just need to experiment with the percentages to find what works best for you.
  23. Correct. Click the settings top right on the SmartBOOST page > Settings > Enabled There is always the possibility for congestion regardless of the connection type but do experiment
  24. Not sure where you heard that but xDefiant isn't properly compatible currently and it also may not be possible, it will require dev input to see if its viable. I'll check why it's been removed. In the meantime, remove the device from Geo, in Device Manager give your PC a PlayStation/Xbox device type, then re-add your device to Geo and you can try to filter it or you can disable filtering for the device so you can still see the servers and ping.
  25. Have you added any servers to your allow list? Thanks I will pass that on!
