Eafc not showing in geofilter
Netduma Fraser replied to shahidwali13's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
I don't think there are any servers within your radius that's why, it looks like from your previous screenshot like you've denied the closest servers as well so it will keep trying to connect you to servers you can't connect to -
Halo infinite settings
Netduma Fraser replied to Rickyrocks's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
It should be able to work with Geo-Latency now on the R3 but it's not something we'd be able to bring to the XR range unfortunately -
Tech can be weird sometimes! Glad it's all working now. Would be a good idea to set that IP that is in the DMZ as static/reserved on the hub so it doesn't happen again
-
There is a conflict somewhere definitely, most likely an IP has changed, if you've put the Xbox in the DMZ on the R3 for example the IP for the Xbox may have changed
-
We are aware Ping Optimizer/Speed Test isn't 100% reliable at the moment, it will be improved in the next firmware. Those features can still work, it just may not be every time. In the meantime best to adjust Congestion Control manually in Ping Optimizer > Advanced.
-
Did you change any settings on the R3 or hub prior to it happening?
-
It doesn't look right, DMZ on the ZTE should have the XR500 WAN IP from the System Information in it, then you can remove that other rule on the ZTE, the port forwarding on the XR is unnecessary as well, you can just switch NAT to Open in the WAN Settings on the XR.

The above might be it, give that a go and let us know!

That's fine if it's not getting you into a game - it doesn't appear as though there are any servers within your radius -

Try this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works. -
If you play solo do you get the same issue?
-
Rebooting will likely change the IPs, did you check they match?
-
If it's a sudden occurrence then it's either a game side issue, perhaps the server is under load etc or something has changed on your setup. Any changes to the physical setup? Any new devices added? Any settings changes etc?
-
The IP for the router has probably changed - check the WAN IP on the R3 in WAN Settings then check the IP on the DMZ on the Sky router and see if they match - if not update it

Can you provide a screenshot of your Geo-Filter page showing what you see when this happens please? -
Are you putting the PC to sleep when you turn it off?

Okay that's fine, when you now get into a game is the icon within your radius? -

When you add a console to the Geo-Filter you don't need to add a specific game as it adds as a game console and then both games will work -
Is there any pattern in traffic/settings changes etc that seems to affect this? Does it only happen when you have no access?
-
Thanks for the Device Manager request, I'll add it to the list. For WiFi: Split the WiFi bands, give 2.4/5GHz different names and apply - you'll want to connect to 5GHz specifically for speeds (smart devices specifically seem to hate when the bands are together and may be they're disconnecting when it tries to auto switch to 5GHz so make sure to connect them to 2.4) Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _ Disconnects and Ping Optimizer are being resolved in the next firmware. Haven't heard of that RGB issue - is there any pattern in traffic/settings changes etc that seems to affect this?
-
I think you're viewing that on the app is that right? In which case the app has been updated ahead of time so once the main firmware is out you can use HVPN using the app.

constant dropping connection even when plugged in directly.
Netduma Fraser replied to vvv's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Could you explain the issue more please? Dropped from the game or a full internet disconnect, if so is it just that device or ALL devices? What game are you playing and on what platform? What firmware version are you on? -
No it's not available, staff have access to the firmware in testing hence why whoever did that screenshot sees that option. Once it's available you'll have that option too.
