No but it has been requested before so may come in the future

By recently do you mean you haven't used it for awhile and then upgraded? If so it may have been a big jump in firmware, did you do a factory reset after the upgrade? What browser/device are you using to access?

cant access xr500
Netduma Fraser replied to rjaaayyy's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
That's very bizarre, could you provide a screenshot of the WiFi page please? If you disable the Geo-Filter do you still get kicked? -
For eFootball switch to custom, cover Japan, then cover the servers you want to play on, restart the game and see if it works better then.

What game are you playing? Can you provide a screenshot of the entire page showing what you see when you get a game outside your radius please?

Netduma R2 Keeps Factory Resetting on its Own
Netduma Fraser replied to schmizzbeats's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Don't use the bookmark to access it, you may have inadvertently bookmarked the setup URL which could explain why you think it's resetting frequently. Use http://192.168.77.1 directly instead. What is the model of the modem/router the R2 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R2? E.g R2 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode In DHCP Settings on the router set static/reserved IP addresses for devices and also extend the DHCP lease time and see if that improves it. -
Reboot, wait 4 minutes then update and it should work then

Netduma R2 Keeps Factory Resetting on its Own
Netduma Fraser replied to schmizzbeats's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Are you running the speed test/ping optimizer tests when the connection disconnects? I can see the wizard was done but nothing to indicate it did a reset, have you bookmarked the interface is that how you're accessing it? -
Disable Geo-Latency and Ping Assist in the Geo-Filter menu then reboot the game and try again. If you make changes to the Geo-Filter on the game you will need to restart the game before matchmaking
-
Reboot the router from the interface, close the tab/interface, wait 4 minutes then try accessing again, does it load correctly then?
-
None of those files are the configuration file as far as I can tell, are you sure it can be used with the router and it's not just PC only?
-
No worries - just so you know, we'll always pin the latest Early Access version to the top of that sub forum

Networking has many variables, what may have worked 9 months ago won't necessarily work now. A low percentage doesn't mean better necessarily, here's the correct link to use: https://support.netduma.com/frequently-asked-questions/legacyfaqs/test-your-ping/
-
What changes have you made specifically? I've given you Early Access so you can try that firmware and see if it is any better for you https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/

Put Ping Assist at 0 otherwise you can get games higher than that and outside your radius too. Follow this guide https://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/articles/16000074717-how-to-test-your-internet-ping while downloading & start with 95% for Congestion Control (set to Always), check results, decrease by 10%, check, decrease by 10% etc, until you get to a value that is pretty good & then try 5% either side of that value to see if it can be improved. Download & Upload on Congestion Control don't have to be the same value & you may have a better experience with differing values. This will be more of a real world test.

Your QoS percentages are really low, I don't think you need to have them that low down. Traffic Priority on every device basically means you have traffic priority on no device, you've made them all equal. Just prioritize your game rather than everything. Do you mean you've set Ping Assist for the Geo-Filter? If you could provide some screenshots of the QoS and Geo-Filter pages I can take a look

NEW XR500 BETA FIRMWARE: 3.3.535
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Lew's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Correct This is the 3.3 firmware so if you're already on it you wouldn't need to do anything. Yes it would revert it - you can disable auto update in Settings > Administration > Firmware update Are you referring to the official update? If so there is nothing blocking it on our side -
Have you double checked the WAN IP of the XR is still the same as the IP you've set in the ISP modem router? If it's specifically just the one game then it's very likely on the game side. What are the speeds you pay for/receive? Have you entered those speeds into the router? How have you setup QoS? How have you setup the Geo-Filter?
-
Added - yes you can downgrade at any time

Does the ping fluctuate or is it quite stable? Move your home location/radius to cover the server you want to play on but excluding all others, restart the game then search. What is the model of the modem/router the XR is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the XR? E.g XR in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the XR? What are the speeds you pay for/receive? Have you entered those speeds into the router? How have you setup QoS? How is the Xbox connected, via ethernet or WiFi?
