Very likely a popular server and so will be much worse during peak/busy periods for hit detection
-
I suspect when you're connecting through your friend you're connecting directly to the server. Whereas with the VPN you're connecting to that, then the server, back to the VPN, back to you. You're adding two significant hops to the server so quite probable you're hitting a ping limit preventing you playing.

Specific Thunderstore Mods blocked?

You're welcome, have a great holiday, we'll be here when you're back! -
No not currently, we'll remove that restriction in a future update

Have you set static IPs on the devices themselves and made them the same by any chance?
-
Unplug the router from power for 24 hours, plug in, then wait 4 minutes before accessing and see if you can get internet. It may seem excessive but we have seen routers come back to life doing this.

Do you notice it more if one device is turned on before the other by any chance?
-
Thank you, there may be a fault with the tool we're using which I think is contributing to the time it's taking as well

Wi-Fi Speed is Slow but Ethernet is Good.

I can't give ETAs for any specific feature/fix as it's always subject to change. New firmware will be posted in Early Access when ready so keep an eye on that part of the forum. -

Geofilter not working. XR1000 Router

That's great to hear, as long as you got it sorted that's the main thing! -
Just trying to get you access to the interface at the moment - without that you won't get internet. Unplug the router from power for 10 minutes, plug in, then wait 4 minutes, then hold the reset button for 30 seconds, then wait 4 minutes before accessing the interface - you can remove the static IP.

Netduma Fraser replied to nerd123's topic in Netduma R3 Support
No that wouldn't be possible, it's not a card it's a CPU chip with integrated WiFi soldered to the board. It would also void your warranty. It won't be a hardware issue, it'll be something we can further improve through firmware but also 5GHz has poor penetration so the further away from the router you are the less speed you'll get. -
Okay great thank you. Set a static IP on the PC with the following details IP address: 192.168.77.100 Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 Default gateway: 192.168.77.1 DNS: 192.168.77.1 If you're not sure how to do this, you can check this guide: https://kb.netgear.com/27476/How-do-I-set-a-static-IP-address-in-Windows then try accessing 192.168.77.1 please and see if it works.

Yes please. The video shows you everything you need to do -
Could be either the cable connecting the console to the R3 or the cable connecting the R3 to the modem

I'd suggest reupgrading the firmware using the TFTP method, this bypasses the boot process and any issues there then once done do a factory reset for the freshest install possible: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/54949-dumaos-is-not-running/?do=findComment&comment=407569 -
It needs to be connected to the router for there to be any useful information
-
The gains are minimal. TV should connect to the XR if possible. You can activate IPv6 on the XR but only if it's handling the main connection, if its in the DMZ then no need. You only need this if your ISP supports IPv6.
-
Thanks for the IDs! You don't need to worry about the IPs and while it is best to be in bridge mode it's not necessary, you can have the R3 in its DMZ instead
-
Just to clarify, was the PC connected to the R2 at all when you did this screenshot?
